Read the thread title and the following popped into my head:

Say? In real life? Would you, could you, in real life?
I would not could not, in real life.
I do not want one here nor there,
I do not want one anywhere,
I do not want an anime waifu,
I do not want one, Sam I am...er...aifu

It's 1:30 AM and I'm tired. 8)

As for the original question...well, it's hard to say what I'd do. I like to think if I was in Hisao's shoes, I'd try to live my life as best and as fully as I could rather than thinking which girl I wanted to get in the panties of. :P

Could you do stuff with a Rin?
Would you say her name like 'green'?
How 'bout with those orange peels?
What a crazy bunch of feels!

This is messing with my brain
Whole day now a Seuss refrain
Now I don't know who I am
And hunger for green eggs and ham.

Would you wave hands with Shizune
Or cram them up her juicy poon
Make her fat friend go away
Don't care that she's an easy lay

Please don't please don't WAHAHA
No don't no don't oh mah gawwwww
Would you like some more fried food
While sitting on the roof to brood?

I do not want more fried food
I do not eat it then get nude
I will not eat your takoyaki
Check my drills out, aren't they wacky?

Well, if we want to get into name pronunciation again, Shizune doesn't quite rhyme there :ducks: :hides under desk:

Would you wave hands with Shizune?
Would you find her route a bit meh?
Comfort Misha oh-so-nicely
Or inject yourself quite spicely?

There's always Emi for fast track,
Lemon zesty in the back;
Rin is mostly armless too,
Would you find that shade of blue?

Then there might be time for tea,
Or for books, the library;
Would you love a blue-eyed blind?
Off to Scotland, would you mind?

You might oddly dream of bacon
But this poem that we're makin'
Is more inclined to ham and eggs,
Not half-burned chicks with tasty legs.

Now I've shown how bad a laifu
Is the restless hunt for waifu
Let us get back to the thread:
which girl would you love instead?

To answer the question: Rin, obviously. Although at Hisao's age I probably would have gotten the neutral (terrible) ending, since just a couple years later I got that IRL :(

Probably why this game hit so damned hard. I think I had bottled everything up (including myself) for years, then KS just smashed it open and it all came pouring out. A bit like kicking open an emotional Pandora's Box, really.

You fell off a roof whilst getting wankered with a conspiracy theorist?

But if I were in Hisao's position, no doubt I would have kept up with the running.
Whether or not I would have actually wound up with Emi is different :P Until last year, I was as socially inept as they come
Like stupid, silly doodles with no point? You've come to the right place, friend :^)
I also occasionally write oneshots. Why not have a skimread?

Rin's neutral ending. At the time I would have rather had the manly picnic. Damn near did afterward.
