I am a bit surprised about Hanako holding 2nd place almost on par with Emi. Well, not by this, actually, but more by the gap between these two girls and other ones.

Emi is really easy to get relative to the others cuz the track choice almost guarantees her story, which only requires 2 choices (telling the nurse you'll exercise and then trying to die on the track), but getting the other girls story's is a bit more complicated.

I just went with what I thought I'd answer had I been presented with such situations irl and, due to Lilly's being practically identical (in terms of personality) to the way I always fantasized my future gf (I know it's sad), I ended up in her route

Shizune. The route itself isn't as dramatic or feelsy as Lilly's or Hanakos (still haven't done Rin or Emi's routes) but it does contain the scene that most sticks in my head, and which I'll probably not forget in a long while - the end of Throwing Balls.

I didnt go for anyone in particular my first playthough. My logic was wanting to better my health to be able to live as long as possible, and be physically capable of doing as much as possible. So, I made the choices that pertained to that and ended up going down Emi's route first. Ended up with her bad ending first. That sucked. Loaded my last save, and got the good ending the next day.

Then I went for Lilly, then Hanako, then Shizune, and last Rin.

I think thats why so many people get Emi first, they naturally want to exercise so Hisao doesn't die of heart attacks, so they exercise and soon find themselves drawn to Emi.

I went for Rin's first, but ended up on Lilly's route instead. All because I said "speak with Hanako". At least I got Rin's route 2nd. Though technically, I got Kenji's route first when I saved at one of the choices, and I choose the wrong one and got manliness.
