Making a long story short, we're a group of guys working on a latinamerican spanish translation of Katawa Shoujo. We have most of Act 1 translated and the first two days running perfectly, it lacks polishing. Right now we're looking for people interested in joining the team as translators willing to present an exam to prove their capability. We have a new blog and new forums, we hope that getting rid of the xp-dev ugliness will encourage people to be more active in the translation community for this game. Those interested in checking them out here's a link to the blog and the forum. Of course, it's all in spanish.

I'd add another pic, but the max is 3. You're only missing Kenji, anyway.

I've got to start saying this in Spanish class next year.

PS: Limones.

I wish you all lots of resilience during the process.

And remember, when the words start to blur into one another and you start to unknowingly replace valid vowels with silly ones...it's time for a short break from kicking your own ass over it.

It's just so that you can kick yourselves around moreso effectively when that break ends and you get back to work. :)

Just a random question... How would you pull off the "I see" slips in Lilly's dialogues? I once wondered if I would translate it using something as "point of view", but doesn't seem as casual...

"I see." isn't an idiom in Spanish? If it is you could just say "Lo veo." but if there isn't, that's tricky.

I believe you can put "Ya veo." sounds more normal to me.

Yeah, that's what they said when I looked it up. I'm not even close to being fluent, so "Ya veo" just sounds like "I already see" to me.

Could simón work?

On second thought, nah. Thats more of a "yeah" or "for sure". Now I'm stumped on this question.

curious that peeps seem more concerned about Lilly's "I see"s than her "ara ara"s or Misha's "wahaha"s.

Actually a long time ago we decided to go for "Guajajaja". The "w" isn't that used in spanish :)

I'd like to join into this project!
I've lived in Mexico for 3 years now, so I'm mostly fluent.

Let's do this!

PS: Limones.
Limas*
Believe it or not, limas is lemons and limones is limes.

..Yeah.
Confusing, but true.
