If you really want, you can just go in and remove it manually from the game if you think your kids are going to play it.

Well, there was a misunderstanding on what remove adult content meant. OP thought it would remove nudity as well, but it didn't. Then there was a discussion on the meaning of "adult content" itself and now we are arguing on what constitutes porn or not.

Never thought I would have this kind of discussion on a cripple sex game forum. It's amusing to say the least.

And for private schooling. Public school's pathetic by comparison (so I hear). I was educated in Catholic school since 2nd grade, and before then a Montessori school. Those were GOOD teachers. They paid a dear price for it, and Lord knows they were never rich. But damn it, they cared enough to pay for me to get a good, Catholic education. $5000 a year. Learned a helluva lot. Scare tactics in sex ed? No. Evolution? Hell yes, and that it is certainly reconcilable to a Christian faith. (God bless my biology teacher, Mr. Fyfe. Such a funny man, and such a good teacher.) History (including *gasp* the history of Judaism and Christianity)? Frank and open. No one was perfect. There were slaughters on all sides. Not to mention Moral Theology, Catholic Social Teaching, Church History (it was a separate class), and Hebrew and Christian Scriptures.

Grats you had rich parents. The odds are about 1 in 100 of that happening in the US. Point is, if you want to argue a point, you have to do so actually knowing what it's about. Arguing a point while in ignorance is just going to make you lose the debate. All you're gunna get is a bunch of people rolling their eyes while you'll never know when you've lost the argument, because you put belief before objectivity and knowledge. and keep standing there like a stubborn mule.

Oh, do you know many times I and other serious Catholic have come across atheists who read holy books just to debate them? That's as old as Stonehenge and older. Not that debate is a bad thing. You can learn a lot in debate, through which you either end up strengthening your own beliefs, or questioning them.

Oh, and there's a lot more to Christianity than the Bible - or even the teaching authority of the Church (the Magisterium). There's philosophy, like the works of Thomas Aquinas and Augustine of Hippo (there are more recent ones I don't know well), there's history like the Church Fathers and their writings, not to mention exegesis, hermeneutics, and Biblical archaeology.

Any schlub can read the Bible and make his own religion or church out of it. (Case in point: Protestant Christianity, Mormonism, Jehovah's Witnesses, Jesuism, and a whole slew of other "sola scriptura" based religions.) It takes a lot of effort, research, and humility - yes, humility, to read the texts unbiasedly - to stumble upon the religion Christ founded.
