Honestly, I found Shizune's path to be very disappointing.

well, without delving back into the many many Shizune discussions that have already taken place, let me just say that the Shizune route is far more subtle, and with less obvious conflict and a more complete heroine than the other routes, so many people aren't able to pick up on how good the route really is. I suggest playing back through it and really reading closely. Also, play the bad ending if you haven't yet. It sheds SO MUCH light on Shizune's motivation. Really makes you understand her more.

Ok, enough thread jacking. This is an Emi thread! Lemon lube anyone?

Emi's path is interesting enough to finish because in the good end someone is dead.

Yeah. Wrap your head around that little morsel.
(Ok, yes. It's Emi's father. Don't spoil it for yourself, though!)

The dead father is dead in all of her endings. Unless he is somehow a zombie, brought back from the dead with magic, but that is impossible and laughable.

Yeah, you should, so you would have complete the game (simple answer)

You have to take in mind that Emi's path is probably the most realistic one and that's why I liked it (and other maybe not). It's normal in your first relationship involving sex that you experiment with your partner. To me it was like Hisao and Emi were getting very close, as they knew this could fail miserably, but trusted each other enough to go through it.
