I recall the melancholic piano pieces being the strongest music in the game. The review seems agreeable with my assessment; the music fills its purpose, but material worth listening to on its own is only here and there.

When I listened to the OST of Final Fantasy 8 for the first time I hated it. After I actually finished the game the first thing I did was download the OST and I loved (some of) it.

I think the same goes for most good game/movie music, on its own it's nothing special but once you know the story behind it it's all the more awesome.

FF8's OST is one of the best ever made imo

Some of the songs of KS reminded me of FF8's as well. All I can say KS has an excellent OST, one of the best for any VN and game I played.

well i argue other parts of KS against other VNs .... the music is far and away the best hands down
