Since my plan to enter medical school is f***** due to my arrogance, I think I should study in programming instead and try to do that, and just watched Social Network yesterday and come up with plan.

1.Creating something that people love with my friend.
2.Watch it growth (or, in my preferred word, skyrocket)
3. Back-stab my friend so I become more or less sole owner of it.
4. MONEY!!!!

That's actually fairly doable. Facebook has to die sometime...

Oh, Of course. But I guess Mark Zuckerburg would have at least a decade to swim in his money with his asian wife.

and if I were (preferably will-be) billionaire and all of my assets is threatened. I might dump 95% of it on some charity foundation. Are you gonna take millions dollar from me? Did you thought how many third-world country child's stomach left unfulfilled because of YOUR action?

I seem to be a little bit late to the de-railing party... but

I think that's a good way to approach it. The general response to your phrase seems to be
AAAAUUUUUUGGGGGGHHHHHH
but most people forget that a relationship's two-ways, not one. It has to work for both people.

I think from that statement alone, you're a pretty mature guy, and if I was a girl, I'd be sure to keep you on my list. If not for myself then for my friends.

Even if she doesn't come back to you, I'm dead sure you're going to have a ton of successful relationships in the future.

Good luck, dude.

You. I like you. I appreciate the feedback!

Also Velitation, I'm sorry to hear that, man. Like I've said before, women are complicated, so is dating in general. I think one good thing for you is to build some confidence in yourself, whether that be by going to the gym more, or simply doing something you love or something you're good at. I obviously don't know how hard this is as I haven't had similar problems growing up (except for maybe a little bit of depression after my father went to jail). I think in the end, you'll end up with a good girl, who matches your personality perfectly. Stay strong :D

For both men and women, dating is just...

No words to describe all the intricacies of a process with no structure.

Velitation, I don't know what it's like, living the way you've had to for years. I don't know how I would deal with your experiences, since everyone has different perspectives on the situations life throws at us.

But, for what it's worth, you're still standing. And, in all honesty, I have never seen an 'easy' of learning life, love, happiness. Don't kick yourself so much. Easier said than done, but these forums can help you once in a while, should you believe we can aid in any way.

Stuff happens, and it seems like you've learned from that past relationship. Though painful, isn't that what we're supposed to take from it all, as experience? Not much else to say, but I think, and I hope, that things look just a tad brighter in your future.

No kidding. There's miles and miles of books, films and all sorts of media on that subject. And none of that does any justice to what experience does, or hearing experiences from people you know well.

Thanks Umber. I have a lot of things going for me, but I lose sight at times. I guess that's why I like video games and books so damn much: a distraction that is so engaging that you think about nothing else.

@Velitation
Interesting story. I've had the misfortune of being with someone who would rather sneak around than break up with me, it's a hard thing to forgive. Hopefully you got something out of it. I definitely relate to the depression, being manic-depressive myself. I don't really get the prank, though.

Oddly enough, the same happened to me. It's not something you can let go of easily, if it happens.

Think of being able to give someone a heart-attack through the phone lines. Now think of it almost happening.

Closest I've ever been to pulling a Hisao. Speaking of which, ever since I've read KS I've become uncannily aware of my heartbeat. I need to get out more.

So this thread may soon became "Broken Heart Club (Literally)"

To think of it. There's should be restriction of pranking in public setting. Who knows how many human with heart disabilities lose their live via pranks.

@Ventilation I couldn't say anything much, but you have to stay strong. Those gore gave by whose you used to "love", whatever love means, will eventually become scar and will barely leaves its mark as times goes on, and you don't have to stick with it too long. Rebuild yourself from it instead.
