No no one should be making any KS merchandise for profit. The KS Devs have said before to someone asking about something they could wear to a Con, "If you want a KS t-shirt; grab a white t-shirt and a Sharpie pen.".
Making something for yourself or to give to someone as a gift is not going to disturb the Devs greatly. I'd imagine even if you are not very artistic yourself and pay to have a KS item made for your personal use/collection that would still be ok. (possibly more of a grey area.)
But it is a fact the Devs have responded to people selling KS merchandise ripped off from the Shimmie on the internet before. I can't really see them changing their minds now

I guess i can try to make one myself....
you got a good point, everything they've done is free which is awesome
and proves they're good people.... But plushies.....
Also there are places you can make ur own Tshirts and Hats by taking imagines from the interenet. To bad you can't make ur own plushies from stuff on the web ahaha
