While she's certainly a mother I'd like to *ahem*, I'm not so sure I'd like to see a Hisao x Mrs. Ibarazaki path. It just ... wouldn't make much sense in a game like this.

But she's definitely a total hottie. My thoughts upon meeting her at the track meet were:

1. Forget the girl, Hisao! Go for the woman!
2. With any luck, Hisao, this is what you have to look forward to in the future -- this is what Emi will turn into as she continues to physically mature.

Granted, Emi's already 19 years old, so ... it doesn't really seem likely that she's got all that much more developing to do. But you never know! You never know.

Pshaw, Emi's mom is clearly doin' it with Nurse.

... I wouldn't have minded a Nurse storyline, though.

The scene during the track meet, when Meiko received sms, she jumps and said, "sms!? what is he, does he still think he is high-school student?"
or something along that line.

Then she went to meet the person who text her.
Somehow, it just all hints to me that she is seeing someone already.

...sorry. but seriously, I dunno if a Meiko route would have been great, but you know she's got all kinds of hilarious things to say with Hisao and Emi together. like if Hisao isn't shoveling down the food during dinner, she'd be like "isn't Emi working you hard enough?" *pause* "At the track, I mean?"

also: Meiko/Nurse FTW. I could totally see this happening after Meiko promised him he wasn't abusing the doctor/patient('s mom) thing. Emi would probably be weirded out at first, but I think she'd be cool with it after a while.

It seems to be strongly hinted at throughout the path that it's the nurse. For example ...

• both the nurse and Mrs. Ibarazaki missed the final few events of the track meet
• both of them claim it's because they had to go see a friend
• the nurse and Mrs. Ibarazaki seem to talk pretty frequently by phone
• she invites him over to her house for home-cooked meals

This isn't really the sort of thing you'd ordinarily do with your daughter's physical therapy nurse and/or your daughter's school nurse. So ... it seems pretty likely that he's dating her. Or at least trying to.
