I was a little surprised about Rin I must admit.

It is a little strange with how 'real' the story is presented and the H-scenes but...for whatever reason sometimes doing drawn pubic hair is just kinda 'hard'. Like it often doesn't look all that natural or good at times and can be distracting towards what is over all a good piece of art work (at least thats what I've heard a few doujin artist say).

One thing I think we're missing here is in Japan its taboo to show pubic hair... for some reason. So that might be why they decided to keep it minimal.

The absence of pubic hair (particularly in Rin's case) seemed to be at odds with these portrayals.

Emi takes care of it, duh.

I was more disturbed by it with Hanako; it seems more out-of-place that someone so shy would keep herself shaved when she has no plans to let pretty much anyone see her right shoulder, let alone her vulva. (It also doesn't help that her CG looks, at least to me, less plausibly "sure it's all 18+" than the other ones >_<) On the other hand, maybe she did it especially for the occasion?

But to be back on topic : As said, artists didn't like to draw them. It is also difficult to draw pubic hair... properly. If full natural, they might be annoying. If partly cut or shaved, why not just get rid of them altogether, since it'd take a similar amount of effort?

Also, Lilly has proper pubic hair in her "naked" sprite, not sure about the sex scene 1. They are trimmed, but they're there.

Per the discussion elsewhere in this forum, is there a particular reason that Hanako doesn't have pubic hair? Rin doesn't seem to have pubic hair either, though it could be hidden by Hisao's hand.

Textually they all had pubic hair (except Shizune, I think, who just didn't have it mentioned). The artists just hated drawing it, so the references to it in the text were later edited out for most of the paths.

I would suggest against reading too much into whether characters do or do not have hair down here.
