Listen to how robotic her voice is in this.
That means Rin and Misha are robots too.

The only one we can be sure isn't a robot is Hanako, because her burns didn't reveal a steel skeleton beneath her skin.
Lesson: You'll need to burn everyone around you to make sure they're not robots.

We also know that robots desire human warmth and contact, but realise in their cold metallic hearts that they cannot really be with people ever, for fear of losing them to the decay of time - factors that robots made of immortal steel and silicon need not fear. Doesn't this line up with everything else we know about Emi? Could she, in fact, be a cybernetic killer assassin sent from the future to prevent Hisao from forming the backbone of a resistance movement against our machine overlords, who went so deep undercover that she eventually became human, just like Robin Williams?

What are your thoughts?

I couldn't resist...

I couldn't resist either...

I dunno. Still not convinced. :?

But if Emi IS a robot, it would certainly change everything.

I'm pretty sure anybody being a robot changes everything.

Well, except maybe Kenji...I can sort of see him as a malfunctioning robot.

Would that make Meiko her constructor?
Damn, now I want to see Meiko in a lab coat and with glasses on.
