"He does come almost right back, so quickly that I suspect he knows about my secret vending machine."
ke "I got you one, too. Hope you like grape juice. We're even for the pizza, now."
Not only was he able to quickly find his way to Hisao's secret vending machine and back, but he was able to correctly identify the grape soda button.
And then a little later in the scene, he's sitting across from Hisao while knocking back a can of soda when this happens:
ke "I can't believe this is actually the medium that our ancestors used to look at porn."
"I spit my drink all over the book I'm still holding, damaging it beyond any hope of repair. I quickly check the back and see its suggested retail price is 7900 yen. I think I might have a heart attack."
ke "Wow, destroyed. Shouldn't have done that, though, they take vandalism super seriously here. You're gonna get caned."
How would he know the book was destroyed? Hisao doesn't even mention that he was reading a book, and it's not even implied that he's very close to Hisao.
It gets even harder for me to take his legal blindness claim at face value when I think about how he and Yuuko were once an item. Nervous, neurotic Yuuko, leading a blind boy around when she already has so much to deal with? I'm not buying it. So to all the devs that wrote for Kenji, and especially Silentcook, what is Kenji's condition, really? Was he really conceived as being virtually blind, or was his poor eyesight played up for comic effect?
Maybe Kenji is the reason that Yuuko is so nervous? And maybe she is the reason he thinks that there is a conspiracy... There must be a tale behind that break-up.
Also, as others have pointed out, you can still have a degree of vision and be "legally blind", which I think generally refers to not being able to do things like get a driver's licence. He could be incredibly short-sighted, or it could be that everything is blurry for him, but that would be enough for him to navigate without any aids.

Not certain what Japan's definition of legal blindness is (if any), but legal blindness in the US is statutorily defined as "a visual acuity (central vision) of 20/200 or worse in the best seeing eye or a visual field (peripheral vision) that is limited to only 20 degrees." Visual acuity of 20/200 means that what the legally blind person can see at 20 feet, the average person can see clearly at 200 feet. As for visual field, the average person can see 140 degrees without turning his head.
And, for what it's worth, there are a lot of legally blind people who can function well enough that they get accused of faking having a disability. Don't be that guy.

Firstly - I cordially greet everyone!
Second - sorry for my bad japan english.
And immediately I want to ask, albeit an obvious (as part of the branching of the routes), but a very important question for Hisao's health.
Why, why he did stop running in Lilly’s root? Or, rather, why, having started to run, would he have tied for Amy, or Rin? I understand that this is a necessary condition for setting the “flags” of the fork of the roots, but ... What prevented him from doing the physical training, but still falling in love with Lilly, or any other girl?
Running in the mornings, albeit without overstrain, and spending the rest of the day and evening with Lilly would make Hisao much healthier and save Lilly from many sorrows. Not to mention that a second heart attack would not have hit him, while he trying to catch up with her in airport. And maybe, being more courageous and decisive because of the physical training, he would not have led to an attempt to break off relations at all.
Of course, then there would be no such tension and a storm of emotions (I cried all three times all the time from her departure to the very scene after the credits), but believe me - physical training would be better for Hisao and Lilly. After all, we all love them and want happiness and a long life.

It seems as if every time i find you somewhere, you are always saying you've visited another country, are you bilingual? I have asked this question on the review you had with MacDaddy but i deleted seeing as i could post it here 5 minutes after
Why do you think Shizune's route is the most hated or rather disliked route of them all?

Hi, I think that the main reason was because it didn't really add anything to the story in any path except for Emi's.
We could have put in a whole arc about him staying healthy, but it would have been a pointless "side quest," so it was better to say that he stopped running.
Also, teenage boys aren't really good at maintaining their health.

I'm guessing you're asking me?
Yes, I speak fluent Japanese but I'm not a native. I used to travel a lot for work as I managed all of Asia, but this year with the COVID-19 and a new job I'm not travelling as much.
I don't mind the Shizune route, but when you read into the community there are a lot of people that think that it was the weakest. There are some people who love Shizune (I really enjoyed her earlier routes), but I would say that if you ran a poll, Shizune would come out as the least popular.
Then again, maybe I'm simply not going to the right places on the internet!

I would love to say "yes" - but I don't really.
It makes me wonder how companies like Disney protect and maintain their properties for decades. Also, I always have that nagging voice in the back of my head that tells me "you're only doing this so you can guilt people into buying your books" which then demotivates me...
I know that there are people out there that feel much more strongly than me about the game, but at least I will remain a constant ambivalence instead of a temporary burst of energy followed by another lost password...

I tried searching but couldn’t find the answer to this:
In Lilly’s route, when does she find out that Hisao had a heart attack chasing her down? When he first comes to in the hospital, the music box isn’t there. Neither the second time. But the third time he comes to it slowly fades in (nice touch btw, kills me every time).
My guess is that she didn’t hear him at the airport and boarded and then someone notified her what had happened, and she came back. However, the story does mention that she’s turned slightly so, I’m not certain if she was stopped before she boarded or not.
