Ask!
Re: Ask!
Absolutely a coincidence. Most of the birthdays were randomly decided and astrology was never brought up.
<Aura> would you squeeze a warm PVC bottle between your thighs and call it "manaka-chan"

Re: Ask!
1) When writing Rin's route, did you have any particular... Source of inspiration for her story, or her character? Rin struck me as so unlike most other fictional characters, in general (then again, the entire cast of KS really does stand out), so I wondered if you created her based on a particular base of any kind, or if you just sorta sprung her out of the ether.
2) If you could meet all of the cast, in real life, but as they were portrayed in the final release of the game, how well do you think you'd get along with them?
3) What do you think was the most hilarious experience in the development process of this game?

Re: Ask!
1) There was no specific inspiration
2) Probably just fine. They're Japanese kids so they'd respect my seniority.
3) For some reason, we always had the worst/most ridiculous/useless development discussions on Sundays, which became an informal tradition called "Shit Idea Sundays". Those tended to result in quite a few laughs.

Post-Yamaku, what happens? After The Dream is a mosaic that follows everyone to the (sometimes) bitter end.

Re: Ask!
There just wasn't any need for more characters.Randleifr wrote:Sorry if this has already been asked but 200+ pages is a lot to go through...
What was the decision making by only having 1 thoroughly involved teacher (Mutou)?
And if you count the art teacher, then 2 i guess
The character set was mostly defined when we had no artists, and since a new character required a lot of art we had long, long discussions about how many characters we really needed.
Even when we had an art team, there was so much work to do that we really had to prove that adding a character would improve the story.
I think it is a good thing, as without that restriction you can easily spin out of control and add far too many characters
