Heh, that sounds like the perfect title for a fanfic...
That fits lol. I was thinkin, in the good ending Rin decides she doesn't want the kind of art career Nomiya was pushing her into, but what does she want? Will she give up art and become a scientist? I bet she'll become a marine biologist so she can study jellyfish

Those career choices are plausible, but I think she'd best stick with what she's best at, which is painting. Though, if she's interested in clouds and sky stuff, she could always become a meteorologist. Maybe she can gain the ability to predict the weather. Maybe she could already predict the weather, and that was her disability all along. How fascinating!

Probably not, since she tends to get caught in the rain... unless she likes getting rained on. Since she can't hold an umbrella she could totally have one of those goofy umbrella hat things, although rain jackets exist :/

Maybe she could paint, but have Hisao pretend to be the artist so she wouldn't have to deal with art critics etc. He'd have to make up bullshit answers to any art questions though

Speaking of art, I liked the history lesson on Picasso in the scene before the neutral ending. Is blues music called blue because of Picasso's blue period?

Rin would get a job at a weather station. She would stand on the roof and they would see what direction her sleeves are flapping in the wind. Somehow I think she would enjoy a job like that.

So, she'd basically take the roll of a weather vane? The thought of that makes me giggle

Yea I couldn't remember the name of that thing, more than just that though. They'd use high tech measuring equipment (paper towels) to measure the dew collected on her hair overnight. That and they'd use binoculars to measure the rain by checking how see-through her white uniform shirt is. :P

I like to imagine that she learns and becomes a chef after her good ending. Granted, this is based on a single by-the-way line spoken by her once, but the more I think about it the more it actually makes sense for her.

-Learning to do what she can't, just because she can (like peeling oranges).
-Very contrary to popular manners (nothing that gets ones' appetite moreso up than knowing their food was prepared by someone's feet :D I imagine that detail would probably be kept hidden, unless the customers really wanted to meet her or such).
-Still has the opportunity for some artistic expression. It's just that her works are no longer 'eternal', like paintings. Instead it's all about how good a work of art (meal being served) she can make within the given moment...right before it goes into someone's belly.
-It's a much moreso practical form of 'art' too. It's about self-expression AND feeding others and, perhaps also importantly given her stature, herself. Not to say that she'd starve to death otherwise, but I can vouch from personal experience that it gets old eating so little throughout your life.

She needs mastery over those tools first.

Emi is going to be a pirate, so Rin could be her first mate (or second if Hisao is first mate)
