So I figured I'd take the information that's been released since new years update and see if I couldn't piece together a better picture of the current state of the game so that we might better guesstimate when it will grace us with its presence. That said it's only constructed from what's been posted on the blog and may not account for everything that needs to be done before the games release. Anyway here it is:

Emi path:
Writing: Path script is finalised.
Direction: Path direction is completed.
Art: Unknown
Estimated status: Near complete?

Lilly path:
Writing: Path script is finalised.
Direction: Path direction is completed.
Estimated status: Near complete?

Hanako path:
Writing: Path script is finalised.
Direction: Path direction is completed.
Art: Art assets completed.
Estimated status: Fully complete.

Rin path:
Writing: Act 4 second draft in progress.
Direction: Act 3 out of 4 complete.
Art: Art assets completed.
Estimated status: Almost near complete?

Shizune path:
Writing: Act 4 second draft in progress.
Direction: Act 3 out of 4 complete.
Art: Unknown
Estimated status: Furthest from completion.

These are just estimates but from what we know it seems like Hanakos path is the most complete, with her art, script and direction being announced as completed. Lilly and Emi aren't far behind with their scripts and direction being finished, though the status of their art assets is still a mystery. After them is Rin, her art is complete but as far as we know her script and direction are still being worked on. Finally bringing up the rear is Shizune, while her script and direction are seemingly at the same stage as Rins the status of her art is unknown.

So I know I'm excited by the prospect of seeing the game before years end, and it actually looks like that might be the reality of the matter.

I also believe it to come out before years end, or early next year. One can only hope alteast.

Absent a retraction, I'ma trust the devs on their before-the-year-is-out due date. We can start sobbing into our pillows on January first, but howzabout we lay off for the moment?

No comment on anything else though, other than that we are on track to release this year.

I know I'll sound silly for asking this, but will the game be free to download when it's out, or will we be buying it?

Thanks for the update, I've edited it into my post and once again we all appreciate the hard work you guys have put in and are eagerly awaiting release.

lol, no one was crying or putting pressure on dev's. It was just our opinion :3

@Suriko: Good to hear~ You guys have done an excelent job so far, just keep up the good work. If it is not done by years end, so be it. It takes as long as it takes

I'm going to estimate about 4-5 months (sooner if the devs work in overdrive ;P) Of course, this could change if one of their computers crash and all is lost O_o please have backups!

Working on a project like this they would be foolish to not keep back ups

Considering the way they work, it would be impossible for them not to have backups...
