A while ago on the Shimmie, there were drawings of Shizune, Emi, and I think Rin in the style of the series "My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic". That is, they've been drawn as ponies. I'm making this thread to ask where they got to, and why the other three girls (plus Hisao, Akira, Kenji, and the rest of the characters) haven't been "pony-fied" yet. What should they be among the three types of pony on the show, pegasus, unicorn, or "Earth" pony?

MLP: FiM has got a lot of attention for being actually pretty damn good instead of the usual super-girly, merchandise-driven series it's often made out to be. You can read about it on TvTropes. Or maybe Wikipedia. I think knowyourmeme has a few articles on it too. Interestingly enough, it's so popular amongst the 18=30 male crowd, they (often referred to as "bronies") took over the /co/ board on 4chan. From one 4chan-popular thing (like KS) to another!

Anyway, thanks for reading! Post your thoughts on this subject.

Well, I think VCR just wanted to draw other things rather than continue the series.

I've heard some good stuff about the new MLP cartoon, but maybe it gets a little too dark.

And yes, the show is a bit darker than other in the series. All 6 main characters have had a mental/emotional breakdown. Some are funny to watch:

Another character that has a major breakdown is Fluttershy. Very shy, quiet, and "moe moe" (like a certain violet-haired girl I could name...) and loves animals. But what happens if those animals don't return her affection? Watch the entire breakdown (from singing cheerfully to disappointment to...well, you'll see. It's always the quiet ones that snap the most...)

It seems to me that we have a one-to-one relationship between MLP and Katawa Shoujo.

Emi is of course Rainbow Dash, Hanako is Fluttershy, Lilly is Celestia, Misha is Pinkie Pie, Shizune is Rarity, Rin is Derpy Hooves, and Miki is that nigger in the forest no one cares about.
