Well for the anime it is understandable that they chose the Asa path to roll with and don't be picking on the loli man. If I recall she was the about the same age as the others actually. Otherwise she was a homunculus so does it really matter.

I have to agree thought I would have wanted to see a Mayumi or Kareha path but I think they gave Kareha one in a sequel or something.
