What the sex scenes get replaced with is not final I guess, but we are currently not planning to write some replacement scenes that contain the same events, except without the sex. If you don't read them you'll miss whatever's in them.

This, coupled with your statement from the Fakku Q&A that each path will have multiple h-scenes, makes me feel like those of us who don't want hentai with our story will be getting a gutted version of the game. And I don't like that feel.

Could you at least let us know what the stance of the writers is on having stuff exclusive to the sex scenes that might be important outside of them as well? Obviously there are going to be some things here and there, but do the writers kick reason to the curb and go all out in the sex scenes with storytelling and all, or do you take into consideration the fact that there are people that don't plan on experiencing the h-scenes on their first playthrough?

My feeling is that there probably won't be huge plot twists amongst the sex scenes, but even if so, a fan-produced synopsis of what you miss in each scene will show up a few days after the game is released anyway, e.g. "Hisao and Lily have sex for the first time and discuss whether their relationship will adversely affect Hanako"

The game has always been designed as an h-game. It has a great story, but it is an h-game. To my knowledge, there will be nothing in the game to aid players that do not want to view the h-scenes. It is simply a jump from the scene leading up to it to the aftermath. This is what KS is. If you don't like it, then you can skip the h-scenes, but I think the writers will put as much work into the h-scenes as any other part of the game. If you don't want to read that, it is your loss.

As for how much the reader will miss out on, the devs have equated skipping the h-scenes to skipping any other scene in the game. You will miss out on that much plot. And you may never really figure out what is going on.

My point is, the h-scenes are as important as every other scene in the game, and are being treated as such by the writers.

Skipping the H-scenes is voluntarily skipping content. The fact that the option is there at all is a concession, and we aren't going to be taking any additional measures to accomodate those who choose to skip parts of the writing. That said, the H-scenes don't have a tremendous amount of earth shattering things plot developments happening in them - you aren't going to find the equivalent of Harry beating Voldemort happening during sex.
