I love science. It blows my mind with such frequency. If I were to lose an arm in a car accident tomorrow, I wouldn't be nearly so upset after watching this.

Old news or not, this is really great. It's not as good as a real arm, but it's certainly much better than no arms at all. Automail? :D

I think I read somewhere that the ones the US Department of Defense/Veterans Affairs are developing cost about $30,000.00 (USD of course) per prototype.

Considering that lots of other things are just as or more expensive (cars, houses, college), $30k isn't too bad. So, the real question is:

What make and model is Rin's arm? Toyota?
