Forums don't normally announce a user's ban in his bannable post anyway unless there is an outstanding reason to get everyone's attention. In this case, if the devs really did ban him it would sound like an admission that he let some guarded secret out or make the devs out to be really big jackasses for banning without clearly communicating a new rule about banned topics like how they announced HNNNG for the Shimmie board (to great futility). Wow this got off-topic.
