will the gameplay in act 1 be affected by release?

i have known that the save game cannot be used in the release

but will the story or gameplay change as well?

Definitely, positively.... maybe.

They could decide to do a Grid One and delete it all. They are writers after all. Drinking too much absinthe makes them unstable; drinking too little does the same. Don't provoke them.

The engine KS runs on could also get a major revision, affecting who know what, and this is totaly out of 4LS hands.

I doubt Ren'Py is gonna get a major revision such as the one you think here.

It will be completely different, with all new music, art, script, and a new set of characters. It will also be Yaoi.

There may be some additions/subtractions that we make at the last minute, but right now we're more focused on finishing the rest of the game rather than fiddling around more with Act I. It will definitely have all the spelling/grammatical errors fixed that you folk have pointed out in the feedback thread; anything larger than that is up in the air.

Dunno about the other devs, but my real job is much more soulcrushing than KS development, so this is a snap. Still, concurring with Suriko about the average given value of "enthusiasm". Also, damn slow. Look at the sig, people.
