I think I'll keep giving everyone Shoegaze

Emi
Outwardly bouncy and upbeat, but with undertones of struggle, denial, and want (I have the lyrics if anyone cares)

Lilly
Really lush and full sound, but also subtle and inviting, full of beauty and restrained power (don't think even the band knows what they're mumbling about)

Hanako
Very stiripped-away, sparse, subtle, lyrics suggest her being forced to confront her condition through Hisao, and his difficulty understanding her

Shizune
Represents the challenges she poses to Hisao both to overcome his own limitation and earn her respect

I think I add to the misogynistic Kenji rap list.

A brand new level of Chauvinism when you combine Frank Sinatra with Frank White.

After that thread, I cannot stop thinking about "John Cage's 4' 33" " regarding Shizune.

Not really much of a song that embodies a character, but its a love song (a sweet one), which is about overcoming the dark past, and overcoming after finding true love, which is very likely to occur...even in real life.

Hammerfall - Dreams Come True:
Resident "morale officer".

Sorta reminds me of Kenji, mostly the title.

Hammerfall - Dreams Come True:

The song contains a little secret - the lead singer always whispers <"if" dreams come true> - just crank up your volume! And that is why I always saw this song as more melancholic although it is a great love song even if the love is not reciprocated.
Ahh, Morticia? I would die for her. I would kill for her. Either way, what bliss.

Yea, the if is hard to hear. I saw it in the lyrics as well though, so it's definitely there.

Taking the idea of The Commissar further along there is one instrumental piece I always think of when I read anything related to romance.

Hear our prayer (Kajiura Yuki):

And one for Kenji - our hero:

The Art of War (Sabaton):
Ahh, Morticia? I would die for her. I would kill for her. Either way, what bliss.

And as the final track of Who Cares: The KS Shoegaze Anthology, a ballad for Misha

Hanako should listen to some MSI, if only for Hisao's face when he finds out.

Or she should listen to this.
Could also be a good theme music for any yandere action.
