Shizune definitely seems to be well off. As for the school itself, Yuuko mentions they have enough to spend on books that exceeds her own salary. The school has to be doing well to have such a good library.

Yah I got to say, most special need schools I've seen, private or not, are NEVER as well funded as Yamaku. I've seen quite a few in my time as a caretaker, and their always crappy.
