You may have already heard this else where, but Raide has passed away.
I'm probably not the person that should be making this topic here. I didn't know Raide, I don't think I ever interacted directly with him, but somehow knowing he's no longer with us hurts.
He created something magnificent and in his works, he'll always live on.

I don't think it matters who made the thread, just that we are all here to mourn someone who was involved in something that meant a lot to all of us... I will say it's one hell of a topic for me to return to.
Rest in Peace Raide, I am really thankful I got to experience some of your work...
I was drawn to this for a reason, the name I picked was for a reason deeper than I can actually think of... Yamaku is not just a fantasy to me.
(no avatar, I choose to be faceless willingly...)

I'm in the same boat here. I never knew him in any capacity, but I felt like I should say something. When I hear of a celebrity dying, it doesn't really affect me much- if I constantly mourn the deaths of people I don't know, there won't be much time left for me to be happy.
But having been so deeply influenced by KS, this feels a bit more personal. I'm sure his involvement in it was only a small part in a much larger and more meaningful life he lived, but I'm thankful for it all the same.

Shattering your dreams since '94. I also fought COVID in '20 and '21, and all I got was this lousy forum sig.

Indeed, especially when they created or had a hand in creating something you enjoyed.
Requiescat in pace, Raide-sama.

This was the last bit of news I expected to see returning here. This is... absolutely devastating.
Thank you Raide for your concepts, the seed that made this possible. Found out only today that there are still people checking this work out, and in the grand scheme of things that's pretty bloody amazing.
Rest in peace you beaut.

I only Discovered Katawa Shoujo back in April, but I still think I should say something.
This VN helped me and changed me in more ways than one, and all for the better. And for that, I am thankful.
Rest in peace, Raide.

In the end, I find myself falling back on this: memory eternal, Raide-sama.
