You shouldn't plan ahead to deliberately avoid bad endings, though. That kinda kills the whole purpose of the choose-your-own-adventure part of visual novels. Just take it as it comes, and if the ending is sudden and sad, try again.

Hisao would probably never had a chance with Emi if she was normal. Her PTSD ruined the relationship with her previous boyfriend, so they'd still be together Hanako would not be so shy, that was due to her scars. Rin has no trouble without her arms, her only disability is mental. So... No difference...
