Re: What scene made you "cry" the most
A few thoughts on life after Lilly's epilogue: Lilly has some pretty serious abandonment issues (witness how she demands that Hisao stay with her forever) and repression issues (witness how she does this while knowing her family wants her to move to Scotland). Once she's chosen Hisao, especially to...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Now Reading: Weekend at Hisao's)
Never posted in this thread, and I've never read Weekend and Hisao's. I've heard good things about both though.
I'll have to read it and come back in a few days for the meeting!

Biased version: Emi, because playable Emi Non-biased version: Lilly- most even-headed, and reasonably attractive to most people Also, I expected to come in here and have the OP read, "Katawa Shoujo in reverse is the story of a boy with heart problems who slowly gets farther and farther away fr...

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most
I honestly found that the graveyard scene, as sad as it was, was also a really touching moment too. Having your guard up all the time hurts. This sweet, tough little girl finally allows herself to open up and let the pain out with somebody she can trust, and the two are finally getting closer becau...

KS in reverse
So I had a quick check using the search function and couldn't find a topic on this idea, so forgive me if I missed something. I was wondering about this today: say KS didn't have a male lead (Hisao) and instead had a female one. They would be in almost the exact same role as Hisao is in the canon ga...

Not entirely sure what you mean I'm talking about how KS took the romance-story further than the first kiss, and it worked.Megumeru wrote:KS Afterstory?Walshy12238 wrote: Going beyond certainly worked for KS.

Re: Is it just me?
it seems like a few too many romance writers seem to assume you have to start before the characters get together. Hell, in most anime-and-related genres, people expect the story to end at the first kiss. Going beyond is considered beating a dead horse. Going beyond certainly worked for KS.

I am an adult.
Also, I feel like this image perfectly captures the emotion and feeling of the original scene.

Re: Help
If you want to spoil the correct path for yourself just for the sake of getting the good ending, there are several flowcharts you can find that tell you exactly how to get each ending. I suggest you just keep trying, though, because otherwise what's the point?
Best of luck!

Re: First impression of the girls vs final impressions?
Pretty much my thoughts too. It's the reason I mostly didn't like her route all that much. "Great, amazing friend." "Yeah, that's why I didn't like it that much..." What even. Well, "really great, amazing friend" and "person I want to be inside of" technicall...

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most
Emis bad route. Especially as you can see how loving she is on the good route. Number one I was screaming at the screen saying how stupid hisao is and two the fact that emi takes it as a joke and then acts serious for all of two seconds to shrug then run away like everything else in her life. I was...
