I agree on the "not in canon" part, but I'll think a bit less of Lily, if she didn't insist on feeling Hanako's face. If being best friends did not even translate to a proper introduction (feeling = seeing for the blind), no wonder Hanako feels that even Lily is being a White Knight to her...

The harshest thing I would force upon Hanako is to lock both of us in a room, get ourselves seated, and saying "You are not going anywhere until you show me you can stand up for youself." Bonus points if she replicates that expression in her Bad Ending.

Found the game via TV Tropes. Entering the game spoiled doesn't detract from the experience at all. The highs and lows are cool, and I give double thumbs up to this.

Hanako is most likely to be a software writer. I'm somewhat surprised that she preferred reading novels to reading up on writing code.

Judging by how the girls benefitted from their relationships with Hisao, I would suggest a gaiden game, where Hisao doesn't hook up with any of the girls, but still tries to help them resolve their issues. I identified with Hanako being bullied, although mine was a very minor one compared to hers. I tried to think "What if she decided that people are bastards?" due to the bullying, and stood up for herself/lashed out earlier... It was not pretty.

No one is perfect, but Lily tried hard to be. I dedicate Outasight's "I'll Drink to That" to her, especially the chorus. Perfect song for her and the KS gang.

I stumbled onto Emi's on my own (hence, my first one). I used the guide to figure out the rest, though I got Rin's somewhat by chance as well, and set it aside for now. All the routes have their strong points. Sit back, relax (with milk and cookies for Shizune's as you WILL be doing a lot of mindles...

I posted a review on TV Tropes, where I found the link. Darn good way of meshing elements from various routes, and the original content was cool. (Although I suspect that Lily had felt Hanako's face before off-screen, it doesn't detract from the awesomeness of your last scene.)
