The Rin in the Mirror
I wanted to challenge myself to see if I could write Rin. After writing this,I'm still not sure. The Rin in the Mirror Emi spit the toothpaste from her mouth. Rather than using a cup to rinse with, she stuck her mouth straight to the faucet, took in a mouth full of water, gargled with it, and spit t...

Re: Character Voices
I can't hear MIsha as anyone other than the lead from Excel Saga.
Kenji is Light from Death Note. It strikes me as being funnier if he's sounds overly dead serious when going on with his ramblings.

Re: Hanako Dash - freeware fan game
Maybe she can't get comfortable with her room and keeps rearranging the furniture. Anyway, I wouldn't worry to much about it being 100% accurate, as the scenes in the game tend to contradict each other a bit. I'd rely mainly on the in-game background as the main source, as it's the one seen most oft...

Re: Most Physically Attractive Girl
Well, since people usually notice the superficial first and can be horrified at grotesque appearances I am glad you didn't give a shit. Oh hell no I don't believe you, people may get used to things over time but absolutely not caring at all? Yea...there's something you're not telling me. Maybe he's...

Sorry. Emi just struck me as looking much younger in this CG than anywhere else in the game.

Re: Most Physically Attractive Girl
Speaking from personal experience having dated a girl with some major burn scars, yes... and no. Once you've been around them for a while, you begin to think of the burn scars as simply part of the person. You'd say "she has bad burn scars" the same way you'd say "she has long hair,&q...

Re: Is it just me, or is Hanako better off... [Hanako Spoile
I really think the fact that Hisao and Hanako were hanging around each other without much happening was kinda one of the stronger themes of the arc. It might not be one you like, but I don't think trying to make is faster and more exciting would have suited the characters as well.

Re: Venting about Shizune's Bad ending...
So does Megumeru's urge to over-analyze things. Is that really what Shizune signs, or is that what Misha translates . Bear in mind, that at this point in time, Hisao doesn't know jack-shit about hand signs, and fully rely on Misha for her to translate anything--if not everything Shizune said. Consi...

Re: Missing stereotypes
If you want an in-universe explanation, it's because Hisao's personality is influenced by the personality of the girl he's pursuing, and in Hanako's route, that means he's much more protective and careful. Some say the condom is even intentionally symbolic of his overbearing desire to protect Hanak...

Re: Venting about Shizune's Bad ending...
Shizune has a lot working against her. Before Act 1 is even over, she's started a fight with Lilly, intimidated Hanako and called Hanako her enemy because she doesn't like Hanako's only friend, scolded Rin and Emi, and actively manipulated Hisao. It doesn't help that she often seems to be just using...

Re: Hanako bad ending discussion
Taking Hisao's insistence to protect her from herself against her own wishes in mind and Hanako's turmoiled emotional state, what happened in Misstep was pretty much the most realistic outcome we could expect. You could argue the characters shouldn't be the way they are, but that's just getting int...

Re: What if X Visual Novel Company made KS?
hmm. Type Moon huh 1. Someone 's gunna have to have sex so they don't die. 3. Seemingly useless lead male with mystery power and white knight issues. Don't forget the rape. There's always rape in a Nasu story in some fashion. "I have the power to cure them ... BY RAPE!" It kinda reminds m...

Re: The Girls' favorite food
Didn't Shizune admit she likes fired foods best? I seem to remember them eating together and Hisao complaining because she was eating all the fried foods.

Re: Hanako bad ending discussion
I never expressed that I have an issue, it's just strange behavior when you clearly didn't even read through the whole conversation yourself (as your initial response to me made a point I clearly made earlier). At that point, I'd consider you "butting in" and not attempting to actually jo...
