Re: Yet Another One-shot Repository (New Entry 12/18/18)

Quite decent. I generally appreciate the experimental, and I think this tactic paid off here.

Re: Secret Santa 2019 - Story collection

I'll admit, I wasn't sure it was a dream until the Hanako scene, which either tells you a lot about me or a lot about your writing! Lap's work has more sex than a hospital has death. You can smell it all over. I get tired of it easily myself, because it's not quite my thing, but I respect what it's...

Re: Secret Santa 2019 - Story collection

I have read all of the above.

Chris wrote a functional fluff piece. Normie wrote a party piece with just a hint of a smutty atmosphere with ultimately no sex. Nothing too out of the norm.

Re: Yamaku Book Club (20191111 Two Old & Colourful Pieces)

These were fundamentally ill-conceived and shallow. I find that relatable.

Re: "I'm Here for You" One-Shot

Welcome to the forums, as Nuke said. Good to see new people joining. For a first story on the Renai, you've got a great story here. Short and self-contained, and generally optimistic, despite the sadness within it. I personally disagree with Nuke's, (and subsequently your own) assessment of the fla...

Re: "I'm Here for You" One-Shot

Welcome to the forums! As someone who's quite new myself, this place is quite welcoming. You've got a good premise going. The unusual friendship of a Misha-Hanako relationship is a compelling dynamic to explore. However, the piece seems to be too short to use the flashback effectively. It could impr...

Re: Fallen Leaves & Broken Clocks/A Conversation on the Roof/A Fluke

It's lovely that Saki misses Hisao. It's a Ying and Yang situation; a driver didn't miss him.

Re: NuclearStudent's Story Repository

I have no idea what I have just read - I didn't finish reading - but it seems to fit in well with the "dream" theme of this batch's stories. Though in this case it's probably more drug-induced hallucinations... I'm not sure why all of us turned in dream-like entries. I know that I had an ...

*haranguing
not sure if also *peace, but 'piece' works fine here.

But yes, this is classic Flann O'Brien territory.

One of each was chosen for this fic. There were a limited set of options available to participants in the contest and it may be that...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (20190916 Yields Six Servings)

Is that first paragraph something Hisao would write? Those could well be his internal thoughts, but I'm not sure it's like him to write so brutally in any timeline.
