Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
Shizune does not like "unnecessary" physical activities. She sees sports and exercise as a waste of time and effort (and sometimes just plain barbaric.) Really? Shizune disliking competition? (Though I could see her avoiding it as an inescapable time-sink because she gets too into it.) Ri...

Are there things in the game that one person pushed for, but no one else liked, but they let it go anyway? If so, what are some examples?

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
if Kenji and Jigoro ever met, they'd get along famously. I'm the opposite. If they ever met, they'd talk for about a minute before one or the other said something mildly insane, which the other would mock, and it would quickly escalate to a screaming match (possibly to fisticuffs) in the absence of...

Re: The Official KS Headcanon Thread
Meiko makes sure to do laundry so Rin can hump the washing machine while it vibrates. Meiko is a total bro. Er, I mean sis. Yes, this happened to me in my first year of Uni and I also declined. I was living in the same flat as the girls in question and I knew that it would make the rest of the year...

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Resumed 06 June 2015)
Given that the narrative is being told to us by a particular character, it all goes to that one characterization. Unless you're referring to the quoted dialogue and concrete actions of the others.

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Resumed 06 June 2015)
Does that sound maybe a little more natural? Does that seem like a slightly more interesting and organic way to begin a story? Like, hopefully nobody thinks my writing this was pretension—I couldn't think of a clearer way to illustrate why this story drives me bananas. When other people see a story...

Re: Bugger It, Oneshot Thread (Ionic Update 2/6/15)
Aside from those specific cases I mentioned before, I have always seen "revise" to mean making changes to what was being looked at, whereas "review" meant not making changes.

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Resumed: New Reading!)
Entertaining, for sure. Though that seems like an uncharacteristically graceless stunt on Shizune's part. Also I think it would have been funnier if the "invisible bird" from Miki had been on purpose.brythain wrote:Classroom Game, by Oddball.

Today I learned there are parts of the world where "revise" means "review". This clears up some prior misunderstandings…Munchenhausen wrote:revising and studying. Because I'm good enough at the subject, I don't need to revise

Re: Yamaku Book Club (Meeting Resumed 01 June 2015)
Hmph. I don't think I see it. The mechanics of the writing were pretty poor (formatting, punctuation, confusion of "yea" for "yeah", etc.) — a bit distracting. Akira is just kinda randomly dead, no reason given. Aside from any of that, I thought the characterizations were more or...
