Re: Yamaku Book Club (Currently Reading: Two Queens)

Huh. I never actually took much interest in the book club before, but I think this may help[ me with my own writing. I think I shall participate.

Re: Where The Blame Falls. (OC)

Okay. I must be beyond tired, because I only just noticed that I used 'is' instead of 'are'. And now for a joke at my own expense. http://beta.diylol.com/memes/61-high-expectations-asian-father/posts/407120-you-get-b-why-you-so-stupid Anyway. I'll go fix that incredibly embarrassing mistake. ...

Re: Where The Blame Falls. (OC)

My bad. It is supposed to read, "I don't know why I always keep my eyes open, but I do." I'll fix it.

Re: Where The Blame Falls. (OC)

Wait. I don't think I caught what you were saying there. Are you saying that the 'there is' in "There is trees lining..." is incorrect? That's one of the few times it didn't give me the green line.

Re: Where The Blame Falls. (OC)

Oh. Thank God that is wrong. Just looking at it make me want to punch someone, but word kept of making the damn green line whenever I wrote the sentence, which I also hate, so I just submitted to it. Again. A lot of time word tells me that it is an incorrect sentence (I'm using an older version, not...

After trying, and failing, to find a gun that required that the operator wear a blindfold. I think I found Lily's weapon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cane_gun

Where The Blame Falls. Act 1. Ch1

Just a quick disclaimer. I haven't played KS in awhile, and my computer apparently hates the main KS site at the moment, so I don't really remember what Yamaku looks like, or the layout for that matter. So if the description of Yamaku sounds a little off, that's why. Anyway. I said I would probably...

Re: Where The Blame Falls. (OC)

It's good to know that I'm writing this better then A Painful Past. (Which isn't exactly saying much, but whatever.)

Re: Where The Blame Falls. (OC)

Good to see you're still around, Mirage. Yeah. It's kind of funny how over three thousand words can be shorter than you think, isn't it? Anyway. The main reason why it's short is pretty much because I find I tend to be more precise and to the point and don't indulge in extra words where they aren't ...

Where The Blame Falls. Act 1. Ch1

Welp. I'm back and I bring with me a new Where the Blame Falls. This is kind of rewrite of the first chapter which completely invalidates the second, so even though I will generally be working from the framework of the previous two chapter as I write the story don't expect it to progress exactly to ...

Re: Fanfic inspirations.

That is often how I come up with my fics as well, but I'm pretty sure the one I'm currently working on was slightly inspired by the movie, The Miracle Worker. Which is about Helen Keller. Although my character isn't deaf she is blind, and I started the fic a few days after I watched the film for the...

Fanfic inspirations.

Jeez I've been away for awhile. Although it doesn't look like the forums haven't changed too much. Anyway. I somehow managed to find a fanfic I was working on before I disappeared, and decided too work on it again. While I was working on a chapter I kind of found myself asking a question that I coul...

Re: Questions to ask your character

I didn't even think to ask things like how ticklish are my characters, or if any of them actually have 'a song' until I read this post. I just tend to focus on writing dialogue and not much else. Thanks once again, Oddball. This lists awesome.
