Re: Emi inspired running/workout
@No0ne3 - Shoes are very important. With old or worn out shoes, you could be putting unnecessary pressure on the wrong parts of your foot causing a lot of the ouch. I was using old shoes before and the difference was night and day when I switched pairs. Week 4, day 2 finished. This was the hardest y...

In like Flynn. Well, my name's not Flynn... but you get the idea. It'll be nice to use my PS3 for good.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Feels damn good today, but tomorrow I will limp. It's gonna hurt, but it's a good hurt. Feels good, man. I just finished week 4 day 1 and it was really fun. Unlike other weeks where I've kicked up the times a little bit, I went by the book on this one. I did follow Tempester's advice and I sped the...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Part of me wants to point out that if something hurts, there's a reason for it. However, if it were me, I'd do the same thing (and I have). My left leg was getting a little sore around the achilles tendon during a run on Wednesday, but on Friday it was fine.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Nice going, Tempester! Speed comes with more and more practice, but the most important thing here is not stopping. I just finished week 3 and I'm looking forward to 4

Emi'd probably force-feed you cake and expect you to run it off. I wouldn't worry about it.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
You are burning fat continuously anyway, only the amount varies. If you run on empty stomach, you just burn the glycogen reserves instead of blood sugar as a primary energy source, that's all. Light snack is fine, empty stomach isn't too bad either if you don't overreach, just be sure to eat someth...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
I think we've gotten most regulars on this thread on Fitocracy and if not, there's enough invites to go around by now. Different question: Is it better to run on an empty stomach, a light snack, or after a full meal? I've been running on near empty/empty this whole time and I'm curious if I'm hamper...

Re: The "thank you 4LS" thread.
Part of me feels like this thread should be longer, but a lot of the gratitude is spread around other threads so that's okay too, I suppose. Actually in light of knowing that - I want to again thank 4LS not only for Katawa Shoujo, but for having these forums in which an amazing and incredibly suppor...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Oh, I'm owned for some time now, and on the long way to getting married, so I know the ups and downs. Just thought it might be a sore thumb for some here. Still, t'was more of a joke. No worries, that's the way it was taken. I just ramble sometimes. Don't mind me. :) Anywhere else and I'd find it s...

Music. I can't tell you guys enough how much music helps me in so many ways. I find it's good to pick a relaxing, but not too slow, of a playlist. That's just me though, and I suspect everyone's tastes vary. I haven't listened to music yet while running, but i can imagine listening to the heaviest ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
@Bigbishounen - Props *fistbump* Anyway, I'm off for my Monday run. I'm bummed that I haven't been able to run outside in over a week now due to rain, but oh well. Damn mother nature, I wanna go outside without catching the plague! And no, I'm not pulling an Emi and running outside anyway. On anothe...

@Wakagana - Thanks for posting your story - I read it from start to finish. First off, no need to apologize for the long post, I think we're all beyond that point in this thread. :) Like you said, it's really quite amazing to see so many different people with such varied backgrounds. For example, I ...
