Probably.
This fitocracy thing is neat. It'll make it east not only to track bodyweight and exercise goals, but I can take statistical notes for my hockey games and set concrete goals to work towards.

Re: Hisao and his physical health
Yeah, it always kind of bothered me that you couldn't keep doing your morning runs and NOT also be boning emi. I mean, it's not as if they conflicted with anything else that any of the other characters were doing. Anyone else notice how in every route except emi's, Hisao's heart was a major plot poi...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Running just doesn't do it for me, never has. I would argue that an hour and a half of pickup-hockey is comparable to running a good 3-5 miles, and more fun in the bargain. An actual game would qualify as HIIT since you go absolutely all out for your 45 second shift, then hit the benches to recover ...

Ding. Running IS boring. That's why I play hockey.
Running 3 miles? Boring. Skating full-bore, physically dominating people in the corners and setting up scoring chances? Awesome.

I'll say this once. F*ck the public health issue.
Government shouldn't be taking responsibility for everyones health, somewhere you have to be personally responsible or you might as well be living in the gulag.

Yes, because I have no shame.Nekken wrote:Although RenPy has been partially ported to Android, it doesn't look like KS will run on it. Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Just tried the pistols. I can do regular pistol squats fine, whenever I add the jump I fall on my can though, need to work on balance. I'm not looking to turn into a 235lb muscled-out dude. I like being at about 200 and feel comfortable there. I'm just looking to exchange the 15 or so lbs of fat I'm...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Money is a factor for me when picking workout patterns, so I'll be doing a lot of bodyweight stuff (need to put a pull-up bar in somewhere). I'm also thinking about getting myself a big old tire and a 16lb sledgehammer and adding that to my routine. My legs are already absurdly strong even for someo...

Ha. You're cute.
Go find something you enjoy, set it up so you get to do said thing a lot. Boom, happiness. Well, okay, more like 'not suckiness', but you get my point.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Meh. I'm on the 'eat half as much as you usually do' diet, and the 'play hockey a shitload' exercise program.
I've dropped to my target weight of 200lbs from 220 in about 2 months. Gonna try to stabilize here and build muscle to make up the fat I'm loosing.

Re: If you *actually have* a physical disability, what is it
What do you expect with so many computer nerds? I am happy to report no disabilities, no allergies, and an above-average state of physical conditioning. When I was going through puberty it looked like glasses would be in my near future when my vision started going out, but that has stabilized (no I ...
