Re: Do you have any disabled friends?

I'm perfectly cool with the idea, despite the use of the term "mad scientist". But, folks like Kutagh have expressed reservations. We express reservation mostly about the concept of 'having to be FIXED', which implies there is something seriously wrong with being Deaf. There are a few tha...

Re: Do you have any disabled friends?

Everyone that uses glasses are disabled. Yes, disabled. I have miopia and wouldnt be able to function in society if I didnt had glasses. Yes, its that bad. Just to read this I would have to be like 15 cm from the screen. ANd there are millions of there with similar problems. Yet its weird that we d...

Re: Do you have any disabled friends?

Everyone that uses glasses are disabled. Not true. My vision without glasses is only slightly worse than with them; I'd be perfectly able to do what I do without them; and there are only a few people I know who truly need glasses for day-to-day life. Can you drive without glasses? Go to class witho...

Re: Do you have any disabled friends?

Not everyone can accept that state of affairs, and I think scientists have a selfish reason for promoting this particular line: They want to push their knowledge/mastery of the human body to the limit. Reversing deafness/blindness, creating artifical limbs that are as good as natural ones (if not b...

Re: Forgetting about the 'Katawa' part

Is anyone else amused that this thread is 50% repeating something that has already been said countless times and the other 50% is off-topic bullshit? That is what happens when you are a veteran and new people keep coming over. Sometimes its a bother to see the same subjects over and over again, but...

Re: So, is Hanako a Nerd?

Her house fire and her parent's deaths was caused by arsonists, or burglars accidently set the house on fire. She then vows to protect Yamaku and Japan as its dark knight. But on topic, I already pictured her as something like that. In fact, there are fan arts of that. -pic- http://media.tumblr.com...

Re: What do you think happens afterwards?

One interesting thing about Kenji is that the guy is almost blind. That means he hardly knows what is going on. His paranoid could be an atempt at believing he knows what is going on. So that could be a defense mechanism. Also, he shows a lot of diferent behaviors throught the diferent arcs. You do ...

Re: Forgetting about the 'Katawa' part

That is one of the themes of the game: These are just normal people, and you should look at their problems as a minor aspect of their personality. In act 1 they deal with this a lot, mainly through your dialogues with some of the school staff.

Re: Do you have any disabled friends?

One of my cousins is deaf due to her mother having rublla when she was pregnant, so she was born deaf and blind of one eye. Went to special school. I learned a bit of hand language because of her. Met some people with eye problems like very bad eyesight and some were even blind in one eye due to tra...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

i'm pretty sure if i take her to the dance, i get the "dick of the year" award for taking a girl away from my friend. @Warwise: Nothing against you but I personally would not take girl advice from a guy who just referred to them as "dozens of bitches"... Maybe. The deal is: Geti...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club

When emotions are involved, its hard to know the outcome. Its hard to understand what may happen. You see, this boring guy may actually love this girl. He may be in love with her. If this guy comes around and start asking questions about his relationship he may get extremely pissed off and start ask...

Re: What do you think happens afterwards?

My theory is that Kenji one day saw his sweetheart childhood girlfriend on a gangbang with about 4 guys and threw acid at his eyes to forget the image and then his mind blocked this memory but created a very complex defense mechanism so he would never aproach women anymore so he wouldnt get hurt by ...

Re: What do you think happens afterwards?

This post again? Lets do it, fallout style . Fallout does that too? I always think Fire Emblem when it comes to "what did the characters do after". Only Fallout: New Vegas does so I believe. Wut? It came from Fallout 1 and 2. Usually no matter what you did people got fucked in the end any...

Re: Your "true ending" and/or OTP

Maybe its because I'm sleepy right now and my brains a bit woozy, but I was watching AdventuresOfLuna's Lilly play through tonight, and found it interesting how much more subdued Hanako seems in Lilly's story. She doesn't have her panic attack in class, and doesn't go into the deep depression about...

Re: Have you dated someone like any KS character?

I think we have met so many Emi´s out there because most of us are introverted shy people who dont really have a lot to say most of the time. So these girls are always talking and asking us to do stuff and we usually go with them. This sounds fairly likely. My wife is also an introvert. When we fir...
