To add to that, during Shizune's path, all of my sympathy, and other people's sympathy, went towards Misha, so I don't find it surprising when people either don't like/don't care about Shizune.
Literally the only time I actually felt bad for Shizune was the bad ending.

Because she's an absolute bitch to Lilly, and considering what a sweetheart Lilly is, it's kind of hard not to side with her, even if you're on Shizune's path.

To be honest, if I ever ended up having a blind daughter, I probably would name her Lilly. But that's as far as I'd go. I wouldn't name my deaf daughter Shizune.

Well, Shizune's might be a bit flimsy, but not to the point where I'd think it'd end right after the story is over.

KS got me to ask out the girl I like after remaining in a shell for far too long, but that story blows mine out of the water.
I've heard some touching stories brought upon by KS, but this one takes the cake.

I don't even think Hisao is that bland, either. He's bland in comparison to pretty much everyone else, yes, but he's not a completely blank slate, either. He has hopes and dreams and interests that he talks and thinks about. Let's face it, he could have been blander.
