Re: Emi inspired running/workout

@NoOne3 - Yeah, it's just the socket that's dead. It's an old Creative ZEN that you can't find for sale anymore. There's no screws to take it apart so I can't really get into it without Hulk-smashing it open. From what I can see, there's two pieces of metal that transmit sound to the plug, the upper...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

W6D1 finished. I can't wait to go back to constant running without the walking breaks ._. On a sad note, my MP3 player is bork. At one point when fumbling the damn thing out of my pocket, it fell and the headphone plug bent something inside the player so now whenever the plug is fully inserted, I on...

Re: In a year of so will you still play this game?

I definitely will. As weird as it may sound, replaying a VN for me feels like talking to an old friend again. KS is no exception to that, and I'll probably go through all the routes again before the year's out.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Guys! Guys! Guys! I did it! I completed the couch to 5k program! Ran 5k in 30 minutes today and i never had to push it or anything. From now on i'll keep running 5 or 6k twice a week, three times if i find the time. Every Monday morning i'll be running with a friend and we're planning to join that ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I'll still post in the thread, and put up my general progress and keep you all abreast of my boring medical saga. Some will be concerned, me at least, so please do. Did Dr. Jordan (at least he's name isn't "Johnson", for maximum pun effect) gave you any cautious predictions for full recov...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

@ook - I just got back from doing the same thing, haha. I know what you mean about it feeling too easy, after about 5 minutes it was just me, the trail, and some tunes and next thing I know, I'm done. I was keeping an eye on my watch after each "landmark" and when I hit the 20 minute mark ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Nice! Good luck on the push up challenge, gRaViJa! I had a derp moment. It was a good derp, but a derp nonetheless. On Monday I actually did the first day of Week 6 (5-8-5) instead of Week 5 (5-5-5). Imagine my surprise for even having thoughts about repeating a week when I was getting ahead of sche...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Week 5 day 2, I'm officially past the halfway point. :) Today I ran on the same path I did during week 1. I saw the goals I used to set back then, like "run to the next lamppost then start walking" or "get to the end of the sidewalk" and remembered how tired I was at those point...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Sorry to hear about the knee D: At least you're getting it looked at now rather than down the road. They say it's best to identify problems earlier on. Today I finished Week 5, Day 1 and it was good fun. For awhile there I was thinking to myself, "Oh man! This is really hard and I might have to...

Really? Reaaaallly?

On a healthy eating related note, I discovered my favorite kind of grape juice has HFCS in it. It hate how that stuff is in ALL OF THE DRINKS ever made.

Re: Upcoming Katawa Shoujo Anime Expo Artbook

I posted about the project on G+ and in the time it took me to write the post, the fund jumped another $10. The KS community never ceases to amaze me.
