Re: A Week of Memories part 4: Four Leaf Studios

Is it weird that I find these blog posts just as touching as the game itself? I am way too sentimental for my own good.

Re: Discussion - Emi Route (*Spoilers* Warning)

But there are credits in the opening scene. It's not about that, though. It's not about just seeing the names of the devs -- if that's all it was, I'd just take a look at the manual. It's about, at the end of something really wonderful, sitting back and just giving it that extra few minutes (or in ...

Re: Discussion - Emi Route (*Spoilers* Warning)

You're right, the very last episode could have been an epilogue, I kinda looked at it that way, too. I don't know why (only) Lilly has an epilogue after the credits, but from what I understood, a few people missed it due to not using the "skip" button or waiting for the credits to end, so...

Re: Discussion - Emi Route (*Spoilers* Warning)

2 down 3 to go, Next Stop Rin Just a suggestion: take a short break from KS, or at least clear your head before jumping into Rin's path. It's very different from the rest and honestly I didn't appreciate it that much the first time. I took it a bit too fast and was coming off the much more conventi...

Re: Would love to see a KS 2 someday

In all honesty, I wouldn't want to see a sequel. Some games are better off with everything either wrapped up or left ambiguous. This is one of them. A one-hit wonder is something I find to be a treasure. Even if it's the most amazing game in the world, I wouldn't want a sequel just for the sake of ...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*

As well-written as Rin's path is, it affected me the least emotionally. It's very satisfying intellectually, but I agree with sazaland; it's difficult to really feel for Rin when you don't understand her, and I honestly didn't understand her until the end. I'll try to replay it sometime soon now tha...

Re: This game has destroyed my head...

I've been a little like this myself, although this was my first Visual Novel ever =P (hence the thread I made a few days ago, thanx for your input Harlequin 13 it helped), I'm easily affected by curtain themes and subjects which were brought up in several arcs, so I found myself relating heavily to...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*

Neutral end: So Hisao can be that easily forgotten by Rin? Pfft, everything meant nothing after all. She goes in Tokyo to be the student her teacher dreamed of and not be herself and Hisao is heartbroken. How exactly is this neutral? That's pure Rin, though. I'm sure she feels connected to Hisao, b...

Re: Rin's Path discussion *spoilers*

I didn't have too much to add to this thread; but I do think the art teacher is possibly the least understanding / likable "adult" in the game. He's a prick, to put it nicely. I knew I wasn't going to like him as soon as he started pushing Rin to show her art at the gallery. I could see I...

Re: Discussion - Emi Route (*Spoilers* Warning)

1 - The hell with equal love. Lilly is still my favourite, but Emi gets more love and affection from me than previously Wahaha! Another convert to the Cult of Emi! So we've established that they weren't exactly prepared to have sex the first time and it just kinda happened, but I see a lot of peopl...

If I'm not mistaken, the good end gets you all her scenes.

Re: Discussion - Emi Route (*Spoilers* Warning)

By the third sex scene, it is obvious that the two had been fooling around a lot between the acts. Hell, when she comments that it probably wasn't a good idea to have gone the whole way without condoms the first time it made it clear to me that she or the two of them had gone out to get them soon a...

Re: Lilly's Route

It's really hard to find the same magic that you had on the same play through, unless you have a dakimakura which are nice :D, but if i could make a suggestion. Fate/Stay night was good and some anime you could try based on VNs. Amagami, Majikoi - Oh! Samurai Girls, Clannad, and Kanon were nice. Hm...

Re: Lilly's Route

I know what you mean, As Nice as it would be to see some more of KS I think it's brilliant the way it is, And I wouldnt take part in a fan project to expand it because it wouldnt have the same magic, I'd also like to see more from 4LS but for now I think they deserve a decent break for already doin...
