Re: What Emi does for Rin
Well it would suprise me that she might be taking pills for phantom pains sense most limless people have them. Or any other meds becouse of how she acts XD But the biggest reason is that pills like that... aint that good for your body and sense there is always a nurse around. Dont think she will be...

Re: Is there a middle ground?
What I was trying to say is that perhaps lip reading may be slightly easier In Japanese than for example in English (not sure, just discussing the possibility).
Also, of course if someone untrained in lip reading mutes a video tey won't understand anything or almost noting.

Re: Is there a middle ground?
What Te-kun said. I've studied Japanese for several years and Chinese for two and the 4 tones and variations are incredibly important in Chinese (and it's true they are easily diferentiable) but in JApanese there are veyr veyr few words or expressions were intonation is important (deshou and hashi b...

I have it too. I noticed it as soon as I entered the forum, looming over it.

Re: Is there a middle ground?
She's mute too, and has been since birth. Even if she could understand vocalized language (which may or may not be possible for someone who's mute, I have no idea), she can't communicate with it as a medium. I've heard that most people who are deaf but not mute learn lip-reading so that they can st...

Re: Now that Shizune's path is done...
@Purplehairedcharacter: IF you've played the Acvt 1 you know you get locked in a determined path at the end of it so you get locked in a girls path. That's why we can confidently say we'll go for X or Y character. In other VNs it's not like this and if we hadn't played and 100% the Act 1 I would sya...

Re: Now that Shizune's path is done...
I will try to get Shizune's first because she is my favourite(but I will probably end up Bad End'ing hehe), then Lily (and I'll get to see Akira ) and I don't care much about the order after that but it will probably be Emi, Hanako and Rin.

Re: Recommend a VN
I loved the first season of the anime--its a cute school romance if you're into that sort of thing. But I wasn't too impressed by the second season: the first 8 episodes or so were just tying up remaining side stories like Yukine, Misae, etc. I haven't played much of the Clannad VN, but its really ...

Re: Shizune's Path Direction Complete
Nasu's writing style in general is rather wordy. Yeah, Type Moon could use a good editor. They don't use one word when they can use twelve, and then add dashes and ellipses, and then repeat it all four times over. "This chair. This chair. This chair. This chair. This chair. This chair. This ch...

Re: Shizune's Path Direction Complete
Latest wordcount clocked in at more than 485 thousands - that's including all of Act 1 too, but still, it should give you an idea. Act 1 alone is very approximately 15-20% or so of the full game. For further comparison, Fate/Stay Night is ~800,000 words and Clannad is ~600,000 words. Thank you for ...

Re: Shizune's Path Direction Complete
Now that the game is mostlydone, could you tell us arpoximately how long do you think it will take a person to finish all paths if it's not rude to ask. I'm curious if this will be a long, medium or short game (well, I doubt it will be short XP) and it will help me plan for when it's released how mu...

Re: Shizune's Path Direction Complete
Awesome!! The 5/6 in the image refers probably to the 5 paths and the interconnecting stuff but perhaps it means the 5 paths and that the "kenji" pat is left (because the dream for a 6th Misha path is completely crushed). Just ramblin'

Re: A very Halloween Katawa Shoujo CYOA TAKE2
I was pretty shocked by the iron fist and low tolerance in a forum of an amateur H-game too... I'd also would love to read the other endings (and play the CYOA for that matter) but I don't want to trouble you...

I'll also be trying to convince my boyfriend to play it with me... probably fruitlessly 'though.

Re: Misha's disabillity?
Wouldn't it be funny if the novel never states exactly why she's at the academy? Oh, how the devs would laugh. This is most likely to happen. But I don't care. xD Yep, I don't really care if they reveal her disability in the end. I thought I would care (it's not like I don't like Misha) but I don't.
