Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Have tried W1D1 today. Was an epic fail, had to abort after 15 minutes. Damn, and I thought myself resonably good in shape, even though fat. Looks like I am only good in shape on a bicycle :(

Walking is never useless. It helped me to lose the first 30 kilograms. Without it I'd be in a wheelchair now.

It will be a year soon, so I'm going to reread Katawa Shoujo in a few months.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I've read about that. It seems to increase physical performance and can even alter your mood. I'm not too sure about isolating this from my diet for the sole purpose of improving my workout, but I'll look into it. can't really say it improves my workout, and it isn't supposed to do it anyway, just ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Same thing here, actually, except I used to be miserable all the time, and now when I cannot work out, I feel even more miserable than previously. I found something that helps somewhat, though: taking L-Tryptophan on empty stomach before training - and the workout must be longer than an hour. That w...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

"Biking" at the gym and biking outside are two different things altogether. When I was in Qatar I really missed my bike, so I went to the hotel gym and tried the stationary bike out. It sucked so much that after two minutes I went working out with the barbell instead.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

It's heartening to hear you're still going, Gandara. That cycling is a great idea. I'm pretty sure 15 miles on a pushbike would wreck me. I never was very good at that. Don't fear the bicycle. It is actually very easy to rise the mileage once you've trained for a few months. I started with maybe 2 ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

You're an inspiration to me. Even though I've lost a truckload of weight (41 kg, 90 lbs, or an entire Emi ) sometimes I still have that mindset of "I'm still a fat guy, I can't run 5k in 30 minutes." But seeing that you only weigh a little less than I do now, there's no excuse. 8) Dude, w...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

If anybody cares, I am still, or rather, again, biking, trying to get back in form after a bad fall and on a different bike.
Still, 3100 km in the past 6 months - half of it uphill - is not bad at all for a fatso and pretty much on par with guys far better in form.

Re: Recommend a VN

Dudes and dudettes, Never7 was finally released in English about three weeks ago - many thanks to all translators.
This VN is great! Not as outstanding as the other infinity series titles (Ever17, Remember11) but still absolutely awesome.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Ah, today I rode my bike for the first time after a bad fall last week. Damn I missed the workout. Used to do about 220 km every week.

Crescendo is surprisingly nice, actually.
Kana is great, but IMHO not romantic at all.

Emi, absolutely. Wouldn't want to date her, but she would be the ideal best friend.

Yes, this one was very heartwarming indeed.
