Honestly I could see Rin playing keyboard before singing. I also don't see why Shizune can't be in the band, she could keep a beat even if she can't hear the music. Wow nice work finding those errors although I hope the fix isn't to change the dialogue and is rather just to change the flow slightly because I like the part where Rin once again refers to the blind boy.

I think it was supposed to have contradictory elements to create a unique ending, or at least that's how I interpreted it. As for speed the only suggestion I can think of is making sure you don't have any unnecessary programs or processes running. If that doesn't work you could get more ram or a bet...

I feel that the original intention should be left intact. I don't feel that the creators of this game should have to compromise thier goals for the story for the sake of reaching a wider audience or whatever else the goal is.
