Re: Wreckworks

A-ha. It's not the picture that's changing when you flip it, it's your perception of it. Lots of times, when an artist spends a relatively long amount of time working on the same picture, it will warp his perception, and he may not see the mistakes he makes. If you lurk art forums, you'll notice fl...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Act 1 Preview feedback thread

Eadwacer: The final decisions that get you stuck on each respective route come fairly late in Act 1. If Hisao's personality were to be molded too early by interactions with a given girl, that would be...awkward, to say the least. For example, it's quite easy to be following, well, any girl and sudd...

Re: Gunjin Shoujo (Soldier Girls)

Real nice. My one small complaint is that Mishas hair looks a little flat. Could probably use some shading to bring it in line with Shizunes.

Re: Wreckworks

There's actually some bizarre problem with the hair at her front (I mean I can sort of tell it's a little off) that makes the picture look like crap if I flip it horizontally. I know how I'd go about fixing it (though I'm too lazy to now I've declared it done) but I don't get how it goes from lookin...

Finally finished this piece of Rin after fiddling with it on and off for the past week. Though really the hair took the longest. If anyone actually saw the original version of this piece consider it an ill advised prototype that I don't know why I bothered uploading. rinhires.png High res version on...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team

Oh yeah I didn't think it'd stopped working but the change in information when I moused over threw me off. It's back to normal now though. As for the GPU client, I've got a fairly new system (i7 860, 4GB DDR3, Radeon 4890) so it should be able to take it. I've been skimming through this thread and ...

Re: If KS were animated what studio would you want to make it?

But... none of those are anime studios. They're all just western distributors of anime. Bones should do it anyway. Bones haven't worked on anything I haven't enjoyed. JC are good at KS's genre though so I wouldn't mind seeing them tackle it. But if Bones does it won't Hisao end up looking like a 7 ...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team

That doesn't mean it's stopped working. Right click the icon and view the log file; you should be able to see the the progress it's made on its new unit that way. Whether or not the GPU client will effect performance honestly depends on your system and the applications you run. If you're already pu...

Re: If KS were animated what studio would you want to make it?

If Katawa Shoujo was turned into Anime (which I am praying for every day of the week) I would say: Either of these: 1. Media Works 2. Anime Works 3. Funimation 4. ADV Films But... none of those are anime studios. They're all just western distributors of anime. Bones should do it anyway. Bones haven...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team

Running the basic CPU client right now, had it going for a few days. Not noticed any issues with it, even with Media Player Classic running. One thing is though my PC got shut down last night while it was folding (due to unscrupulous family members switching stuff off while I was out) and since I've...

Re: Bad end discussion topic

Yep, that's it. I figure if the devs are going to severely injure or kill off the main character in the Act 1 Bad End then it's reasonable to suspect that darker ends will exist in the full game. i don't think every path would have one but I think a couple characters could do it if betrayed and pus...

Re: Katawa Shoujo Folding@Home Team

That's pretty impressive. I just started F@H up about ten minutes ago. Been meaning to get around to doing it for ages since my PC is basically doing bugger all overnight. Any special settings or the like I should keep in mind? Or will it just run fine from the get go.

Re: Emi Horatio Caine One-liners

I just read all 15 pages of this thread in a single sitting. I laughed til I cried. Especially Genocides christmas contribution on page 10.

Have to say it works better with old Emi, the eyebrows are what make it work. Can't take new Emi seriously enough.

Re: Bad end discussion topic

I'm too lazy and impatient to wait for a flowchart but I'll use it if it's there. The first run is always clean, then I resort to cheating as a time saver. Ended up with Emi on the first run anyway. Could have been worse. I'm prepared to work it all out by trial and error if I have to though.
