Re: Ask!
So cut and pasting code up and down is for the most part just like sentences and paragraphs? That makes sense. Grain of salt or not, it's a basic yet comprehensive answer that clears up the one staff job that I was perplexed about as well as the most relevant to me personally. Thank you very much. :)

Re: Ask!
I'm a tad curious on the VN dev process, but mostly editing as the other jobs seem self-evident when compared to writing or film making. Whether in terms of FLS's experience or in general VN production (as far as you guys are aware), is editorship any different from other media, specifically its clo...

Re: Hanako's Broken Heart Club
Currently feeling absolutely nothing. It happens. In particular when you're isolated. This time though, I decided to drop by here on a whim. It's pointless, but ah, what isn't? Maybe I thought I'd get some sympathy feels by reading some of the posts here. Misery-loves-company feels. But I don't feel...

stuff You would be right, if my post were formal, edited writing and not an informal forum post. And if I hadn't already put a "personal preference" caveat in my 'admonishment', although to be frank 'Ok' does not pass auto spellcheckers, probably because it would be pronounced "Ock&q...

Re: Are we too kind?
TVTropes isn't the exactly best source either especially for sexual stuff I'm noticing a pattern of "These sites I don't like aren't valid sources even though they are." here. I'm just saying, if you're going to use citations for something like sexual euphemisms, a site that reads l...

Re: For Want of a Nail - Misha Route (New Chapter 8/7)
It means that you can't say stuff like "keep it up!" because it's a request, I once got a warning for it :( So, complimenting is illegal now? that's pretty harsh, i guess... :( There's a difference between "good job" (a compliment) and "keep it up" (a command). Not sur...

Re: Lost and Found
I fully understand your apprehension to make your work public, we've all been there at some point. :) Good plotting so far. And it's mostly well-written, if a bit... bland? No Emi taunts during the run, no wisecracks from Nurse. Also you're writing with OCs as main characters so you have to make rea...

Re: Are we too kind?
By the way, the top result urban dictionary returns for comfort is: "The act of deflowering a lesbian with your penis." And of course, there's TV-Tropes . Urbandictionary isn't a reliable source? 1. Comfort The act of deflowering a lesbian with your penis. Misha: "Please comfort me, ...

Re: Mean Time to Breakdown — (Iwanako, Divergence) {u 7/19/2
I know I'm way late on this, but "What if Iwanako got the heart attack instead of Hisao?" sounds like a solid elevator pitch to me. If fan fiction needed to be pitched in an elevator, which would be rather bizarre. This is a spoiler, at first, but then becomes the premise. Take your sweet ...

Words. :D No problem. :) If you ever need a proofreader in the future, let me know. I'd be honored to proofread the fic of any of the talented writers here. I can be as nitpicky as desired, provided I'm not hurting anyone's feelings of course; my intention on critique is for improvement and that se...

I didn't have any problems with the previous version, but if you ask me, this is better. Aw shucks. Now I feel like one nitpicky bastard. Me and my editorial, perfectionist tendencies. That's the last time I reply without getting any sleep first. :o I also looking forward to her first meeting with ...

Re: Hanako's Story (UPDATED 18/08/2013)
You lost me a bit there. Why did Hanako get so mad so fast? Why does "I don't want to go out" equal "I have no feeling for you" to her? And so suddenly too. I don't wish for my own humble interpretation to be mistaken for whatever the author intends, but it is my opinion that Ha...

Re: Yuuko's Elephant
As I tend to take notes as I read, and impressions change as I continue reading, the gist of my post is this: It's well-written, but it isn't fanfiction. I thought the formatting gave this piece a nice touch, and the way you use the poem piecemeal is a certain aesthetic I favor. On the other hand , ...
