Re: Doctors Without Borders fundraising for Katawa Shoujo
I know of doctors without boarders and they are both legit and a very good foundation. This firstgiving.com place though, I have not heard of before. Any confirmation the website collecting the money is safe and legitimate before I give them money? Much less important, Suriko gave the thumbs up for ...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Goals are important. My goal so far is to be able some day, to run 5km from the poster in a slow, steady pace, and not cough out my lungs afterwards. Yup, have to make goals small, and achievable. I can't believe how well the poster-schedule suits me for that. But when I see someone bragging, a 30m...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Does it mean You run 5k every morning? Good for you then. Now, What Would Emi Do? Well, she would run it... faster. Since You can always push yourself further, and that's what you want to do, then the easiest thing is to improve your time on the distance. BTW I'm back on track since yesterday. No I...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Going running when I get up just is not doing it so much for me anymore. It is not a big deal to get through it and I don't feel like I am worn out enough later in the day. I'm thinking of going once in the evening after work too since its not much of a strain but I don't have time to do longer then...

1. Which girl's thread affected you the most emotionally? Why did it do this? Hanako got me the worst because of the panic attack scene and the immediate aftermath. I am prone to panic attacks myself and school was a dreadful experience including several such episodes that were painful, humiliating...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
If you can not afford dumb bells or any equipment one easy way to make weights is to save gallon milk jugs and fill them with water or sand and use those. Alternatively a bucket with a strong handle works in the same way. If you can not run for various reasons then a bike works great or swimming. In...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Her workout is only 3 days a week? It seemed so much like every day, ill have to make note of that, since its exactly what im looking to do (3 days, m/w/f) Check out the work out guide from a couple pages ago, that is what he was referring too I think. Also its not a half bad plan to follow if you ...

There may be people who can do that naturally. They're called Tetrachromats . It's hard to scientifically verify, though. I can only imagine it would be hard as hell. Like trying to verify what a color looks like to another person. I say this thing is red, so do you, so does everyone. But that is j...

How much thought went into the various disabilities when making the art and doing the writing, say on the effects for every day lives or normal actions? Did you do much research into what is different other then the obvious for people with such disabilities? Take Lilly's use of facial expressions an...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Still training, yep, in addition I picked up weight training again yesterday (was "grounded" for 6 months due to taking an arrow in the knee :D so had to switch to a bicycle) so I can alternate between the strides, riding the bicycle and weight training. Them arrows seem to hit in the kne...

As someone who has had delusions and experienced a hallucination (only once thank goodness) I wounder about perception a lot. Hearing and sight are not very reliable, especially sight, for how much we depend on them. One of the more interesting concepts to try and imagine I got from a article about ...
