Re: Reading Katawa Shoujo to someone else
Hahahah, ahhh...goes to show you never can quite tell. Up till this point, in my mind, I always kinda had a sortof scale (not of which girl is best girl, but a kinda general way of how girls' personalities flow from one end to the other if that makes sense) with Lilly on the one end and Rin on the o...

Re: Reading Katawa Shoujo to someone else
Something tells me she'll like Lilly a great deal more then, if that was the reaction to Rin. But if not, please do post. I'm very interested in the 'final score', as it were.

What's not to like? He's the unfettered little hedonist the rest of us lack the wealth to be. Heh, well - some of us don't put that much stock on hedonism I suppose. ;) As I said - different people of all shapes and sizes of all kinds of likes and dislikes pretty much guarantee that even the ...

Re: What scene made you "cry" the most
There must be something wrong with me. I just don't feel anything towards Rin. :( There's nothing wrong with you, man. And I say this as a passionate Rin fan. I don't feel that much towards Lilly personally, but I know it's not because I'm a bastard or even because I think that Lilly's evil or some...

Re: Reading Katawa Shoujo to someone else
I didn't need to work at all to put the necessary emotion in my voice, either, as I often do with other works. It was all right there, even after my having already been through it once. And, honestly, that was my biggest fear going into doing this -- both that I wouldn't be able to summon that beca...

Re: Reading Katawa Shoujo to someone else
Yap. Not to someone else, mind you - no need to do that and our family simply doesn't have any small children to read to...not that I think I'd want to read this kind of thing to small children anyway, teens yes, but small children? What am I even saying?! Er...anyway. :P But I did read it out loud ...

Re: How is KS similar to your life?
Anyways, sorry for my rambling. Is there anybody who feels like their life is somewhat similar to KS? Apart from a few themes in my favourite path (that were such purely by accident), I honestly can't say that. Never been to a disabled school, the closest thing I did was perform at one with my horn...

Re: This game is great!
I'd say Emi is fine. You'll get to see a bit of Rin during Emi's path too and it should help you decide wether or not she's interesting enough for you to save her for last or not.

Re: Katawa Shoujo Virgin heroine?
Well...put it this way, your reasons didn't make my brain hurt. I mean...different people, different tastes and all that I can understand. What I could understand less, though, was Aura's link which indicates the sheer amount of time and energy that people actually devote into this particular brand ...

Re: This game is great!
BTW, is only me that feels Rin is a very interesting character? Far from it, actually. She's either interesting or boring. That's the reason why I always say: Whatever order you want to do the paths, please do not do Rin path first. Not just because of what a timesink her path is, but because...

If you genuinely feel that way about Rin, a word of advice: Save her path for last. It should be the best sendoff ever.Stratos wrote:BTW, is only me that feels Rin is a very interesting character?
