Re: Put your money where your mouth is

Well it's up to the devs whether to officially organise it and pick a charity, but I'm sure if anyone was touched enough they could find a charity of that description and give a little donation on their own initiative.

Re: Put your money where your mouth is

Well I'm not saying they should set up and organize a charity themselves, but if people want to donate, it'd be a good and fitting cause to donate to, in the name of KS.

Re: Put your money where your mouth is

I think a lot of people would be interested in an option to donate to the developers. As they aren't doing it for profit, maybe it would be nice if that money then went to a charity of their choice, possibly helping teenagers who are coping with similar disabilities in reality.

Re: Okay so I played some of the game...

Yeah I suppose the death of her parents didn't help, and at the end of the day, it's unfair to compare real life to this story, however good it is. I definitely don't agree with the OP's sentiment about the H scenes either. As for the music... it was functional. It suited te scenes, and it was obvio...

Re: Okay so I played some of the game...

The H scenes generally served as part of the plot though. I prefer to consider them like sex scenes in a film or book rather than just purely erotic for the sake of it. Hanako's route also while touching isn't exactly how I think people in real life do act when faced with their situation. There was ...

Re: Okay so I played some of the game...

Yeah I have to say I can't imagine myself playing a VN that the OP would approve of but fair cop for giving it a go. Good to see you took something positive from it as well.

Re: Characters theme song, anyone?

I like to imagine Lilly and Haiso spending their summer like in this song

A Summer Wasting - Belle & Sebastian

Just wasting their time doing nothing except enjoy each others company.

Re: This is confusing Lilly/Hanko Arc

No. The girls come in pairs in act 1. Direct your answers towards Lilly and Hanako, the when you have time to kill you can either go to town or the library. The Town is Lilly's route, the library is Hanako's

Re: More of Miki

Well Hanako isn't particularly outgoing, and she didn't seem to be even before the fire. Also she's had a lifetime of being the outcast and like I said, Miki seemed to be quite recent, but I'm not sure.

Re: Music that makes you think of KS

I think I played Lilly's route with a soundtrack of Belle & Sebastian, and the Bruch violin concert in G minor but that's because I needed to relearn it.

Re: More of Miki

I think it was hinting that Miki wasn't all that collected under the surface during some scenes. She seemed to have had her accident fairly recently as well.

She was a very cool character though.

Re: The Hanako Thread - Spoilers, obviously

I played Lilly's route first and I wasn't particularly happy with the way Hiaso treated Hanako in her own route, but I suppose the arc of this route was for him to realise his mistake. I shed a lot of light on how and why Hanako developed the way she did over Lilly's route though. I did end up warmi...

After playing Hanako's route, the way Hanako changes in Lilly's route makes a lot more sense.

Re: I'm wondering about a song in game...

It's similar because it's a Nocturne. A Nocturne is a type of piece evocative of night. Chopin actually wrote loads. About 20 of them I think. I'm guessing the similarities lie in the melodic shaping and the accompaniment being mostly arpeggiated? Personally I preferred Chopin's etudes but that's be...
