Re: Your First Playthrough

Those three don't guarantee you anything. They just give you the option of continuing the Hanako/Lilly path later on. You can say Hanako is cute, play Risk defensively, and ask about the library, and still end up with Shizune if you want. Sorry, I was wrong. If you ask about the library and also pl...

Re: Your First Playthrough

Risk doesn't actually matter much.

It all comes down to Lunchtime Evolution and Cold War. (Which have pretty obvious choices if you're seeking Shizune)
I'd bet the thing that most people got stuck on was the "Fun Fun Fun" option after getting a heart attack.

Re: 12 Days of Crippled Christmas

You might want to tone down the animation speed there.

I had to download the file and open it in GIMP before I could understand it. Actually, I still can't figure out what it is supposed to be of, even after examining each of the frames.

Re: Making a Game... Anyone else trying it?

I'm currently making a fangame of I Wanna Be The Guy.
But that kind of game doesn't need much plot. The plot is just an excuse to dodge spikes and shoot stuff anyway.

Re: Anyone else got the Kenji (bad ending?) in their first...

Hanako/Lilly is easy to mess up if you don't realize that they're practically a package deal. How was I to know that avoiding Hanako would also lock out Lilly? And you don't have to forcefully ignore everyone to get on Rin's path. As long as you don't choose Shizune or Lilly/Hanako on both Lunch Evo...

Re: Anyone else got the Kenji (bad ending?) in their first...

Kind of ironic seeing as the Shizune path requires the most correct choices in a row of any path.

Re: Hisao and Shizune being intimate w/ Misha around?

Well realistically, it will be impossible to learn enough sign language to converse fluently within the timeframe of the game. So Misha will still need to be there throughout the story.

Re: I'm starting to suspect something about Shizune

Misha translates everything, even when Shizune isn't there.

Besides, when do the pictures ever move? It's not like they're animated.

Re: Blindness cured...

That's true, but only because it's impossible to objectively describe mental experiences. It always boils down to saying that X is what you feel like when you do Y, so someone who has never done Y will not be able to understand your description by definition. Anyway, it is a pretty pointless argument.

Re: Blindness cured...

What is color? The wavelength of certain electromagnetic radiation, a concept that can be understood by anyone, sighted or not. What you are talking about is the perception of color, a subjective experience. Obviously, it varies from person to person, but in the case of the congenitally blind, the a...

Re: Blindness cured...

I wonder if they even translate color into braille when they're making books; it'd be like reading a book where someone keeps talking about smission. What's smission? I don't know! While they may not be able to have the subjective experience of color, they can certainly understand what color is. Yo...

Re: Blindness cured...

It's not a matter of suddenly gaining a sense that's the problem. For congenitally blind people, their brain missed the critical period during infancy to develop visual circuitry, hence their brains cannot interpret visual images, leading to the problems you mentioned. For someone who was blinded af...

Re: Anyone else got the Kenji (bad ending?) in their first...

I got Kenji also.

The point where I messed up was not talking to Hanako in Lunch Time Evolution. I was going for Lilly, but didn't realize that she had already been locked out, so I intensionally avoided Rin at the end too.

Doesn't reCaptcha give out the same words multiple times to prevent that kind of thing though?
