Gee, that was hard to find. It's the first result, by the way.

Re: What does Katawa Shoujo mean to you?

Katawa Shoujo inspired me to take up a regular running schedule and lay off junk food almost completely, but I was already living a semi-healthy lifestyle before I started playing it, and Emi's route simply gave me that extra push I needed in the correct direction. Oh, and I suppose that I am sligh...

Re: Ask!

I noticed an apparent inconsistency in the FAQ: Q: I saw this game for sale. Are you selling this now? A: No. Four Leaf Studios is not charging for Katawa Shoujo, and never will. If you see anyone selling Katawa Shoujo, charging for "official" merchandise, or using game assets in their for...

Visual effects in Katawa Shoujo

I'd like to show my appreciation for the wonderful visual effects used in this VN. I feel that, despite the limited budget, the visual effects in KS managed to have a striking effect that makes many VNs with larger budgets seem less exciting in terms of presentation. First of all is the obvious: the...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Nice going, Tempester! Speed comes with more and more practice, but the most important thing here is not stopping. I just finished week 3 and I'm looking forward to 4 :D Thanks. Not stopping is important, because my body gives me all kinds of trivial discomfort during a run (especially the later pa...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I finished Week 7 today. I noticed lately that I have to run significantly slower than in the earlier weeks because my body still hasn't gotten used to running for 20+ minutes nonstop. Hopefully, I'll be able to improve my speed some time. Other than that, I'm perfectly smooth.

Re: Turned onto Classical/Piano music due to KS?

I've been a classical geek for long before I played KS. I like Romantic music like that of Mahler, Tchaikovsky, and Brahms the most, but I also have a soft spot for Classical period music from Beethoven, Haydn and Mozart. Recently I've been loving Dvorak's Symphony From the New World for its spectac...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

Well only thing for the moment I do is ask a question. For your diet; how many meals per day and calories do you consume per day? The key to a good workout is a good diet plan as well. I workout regularly so I usually have about 6 smalls meals a day (Or 2~3 Big/Regular size ones). The meals also co...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout

I'm following the Couch-to-5K plan. Just finished Week 6 Day 3. Running for 25 minutes straight for the first time was the most strenuous run I've had yet. I was huffing and puffing at the end of it. Feels great when it's all done, though. Maybe I'll try HIIT someday, but I want to finish Week 9 of ...
