Re: Songs that remind you of Katawa Shoujo

Well this song reminds me of KS in general. Probably because its the ending theme for another VN

Name is called Song for Friends

Nobody in Particular wrote:I had this problem during, it was a real pain. Downloading Narcissu 2 will fix this error, as it comes bundledwith a non-crash version of the original VN.

Re: Does KS really cause Manly Tears

Thanks for finding the quote for me I would love to see the input of the other writers. I personally like Nakiges because of 2 reasons and its not because I want to cry. I like them because I consider them as an alternate reality, what if my life was like that? Then I wouldn't mind putting all the w...

Re: Recommend a VN

Finished Narcissu but lets say Windows 7 and Narcissu are mortal enemies. Crashed every single time a chapter was finished and occasionally, when you load a new scene. I couldn't load saves unless I run administrator mode of the game before the save and after it. Trying to backwards compatibility wi...

Re: Does KS really cause Manly Tears

Surprisingly from a response from Aura, KS was not written to cause manly tears, at least for Rin's arc, as she was the writer of it. That might not be the case in other routes but it is for Rin's. Now with that in mind, if you really want other VN's that cause "manly tears" go to recommen...

Re: Who Told You About KS?

when I think about it now... KS is becoming very well-known after game magazines after game magazine and game websites after another reviews it and spreads it to a wide range of audiences... ... ... so, is it wrong of me if I'm crossing my fingers right now hoping some hot-shot animation studio fro...

Re: Ask!

As you just mentioned from the above post, your goal was not manipulate "feels" like Jun Maeda, which he does a pretty good job. This question might had been asked already but, when you were writing the VN what was your intended reaction to it if it wasn't for the "feels"? It fol...

Re: Other Media that gave you "The Feels."

Both Clannad and Kanon, two of Kyoto Animation's seminal works and produced by Key of Haruhi Suzumiya fame, drove me to tears at several points throughout the series. They go above and beyond the normal emotional levels of that kind of series, and the characters are so well-played that you can't he...

Re: Who Told You About KS?

Well I discovered it from a picture on facebook my friend posted with Lilly's line Healthy Adolescent Sex Drive, so I thought I would check it out. Funny thing I think this VN made the genre from a rare existence in America to a somewhat more known single handedly

My thoughts are that a good translation with a small team should take at least a year to translate and edit the whole thing because it is pretty big

Re: How do you get the most out of this masterpiece?

I would suggest doing Lily after Hanako or Hanako after Lily because they are close friends and their paths mirror each other pretty well, other than that do what you want and feel like doing
