Your writing makes me feel bad. On both levels of I can't write that well and that It just generally makes me dislike certain characters.

My only complaint is that you don't just go "get" a new pair of legs. I build the things for a living and fit them to people. New legs are usually a MONTHS long process. Fastest I've done it for someone was 4 days but I had all the parts around to do it. Getting something like a Pathfinder...
