Re: The "Lesson" of KS?
I think Xanatos is on to something here. While I would disagree with the "there is no lesson" part, even if the devs didn't intend one as he says (there appears to be at least some consensus from the community on a few things, such as the "people are people" thing), I can definit...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
So I think I've finally gotten myself back on track (though an earlier part of it). My 2-mile run today went just as planned, which leaves me on what was "Week 4" of my routine. Another thing I've fixed in the meantime is running on the Tuesday-Thursday-Saturday schedule I'm accustomed to,...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
I confess a moment of weakness on my part. Haven't been keeping to my running schedule the past few weeks, and that's why I haven't been posting anything myself. But I'm getting back into it, just need to get my lung capacity back on track and then I'll resume on Week 6.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
After last weekend's delay, I'm now back on track. Week 5 is done, reaching 3.5Ks. I'm almost back to where I was last year, so excited.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Weather problems kept pushing back my running sessions from last week, so I could only complete Week 4 today instead of over the weekend. But hey, I did complete it. That's 3.2Ks (the extra .2 was to round out the length of the road I run on), or just under 2 miles. However, I know I won't be able t...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Seems like for me it's actually "third time's the worst", or rather "third week's the worst". I had particular trouble repeating my 2K run from last week, so I tried to make up for it by going some additional distance after my initial runs the previous two sessions. Thankfully it...

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Pulled off the 2Ks like I planned, so Week 2 is done! I'm surprised at how well I was able to handle the cold wind today, but dammit I want the weather to stay warm.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
Two words: "oh" and "yeah". Week 1 complete, and I finally feel like I'm getting back into the rhythm of running one mile. Time to bump things up to 2Ks for week 2.

Re: Emi inspired running/workout
So the weather has finally started to warm up, and it's staying warm enough for me to get back into my normal running routine. Even after a couple of practice runs over the weekend, I still can't run a full mile consistently. Though I remember it being like that for me when I first started out a yea...

Re: Does your favourite heroine reflect yourself?
I've touched on how I share Emi's take-it-as-it-comes attitude before, and while I'm not particularly proud of it, it is still a part of me. Having said that, I feel like we all can see a bit of ourselves in each of the heroines, so I suppose the main differences in this topic will be the degree to ...

Re: Your first ending?
I'm in a similar boat with ShadeHaven. I was forced into following Emi at her house and thought I had entered the bad ending, so I backtracked. However, I did that before finding out that I still had a chance to get the good ending by talking to Misha . So technically the first ending I got was Emi'...

Re: Have you dated someone like any KS character?
Man, a lot of us have dated or been influenced by Emis in real life. I wonder if that's a curse for those of us who are shy, self-deprecating (*cough*Hanako*cough*) types: we're attracted to outgoing and hard working types. This is something that actually hit me pretty hard with Emi. She was the on...

Re: Have you dated someone like any KS character?
Never actually dated her, but in my first year of college I knew someone who was like Emi in the sense that she had a generally cheerful personality. Most likely it had nothing to do with any sort of traumatic past though, and the most physical activity she seemed to do was DDR on occasion. Me being...

Happy birthday to Emi, the fastest thing on no legs!
It is unfortunately even colder today than it was supposed to be already, so I can't run to celebrate.
